The personality of the Male Lead in both shows are alike. Both major in sciences' area, they are calm, cool and can be cute sometimes, and at first they don't really seem to be, but they are 'dominant type' in the relationship. In LCDF the OTP meet in high school while in TEOL they meet in college. Both cuples *SPOILER* split at some time due to misunderstandings but met again later and get together again. I recommend both.

Very similar in cuteness and more centered on the youth side of romance, friendships and growing up! However, TLE is a bit more mature in the sense that it's based in college, and so the characters are meant to be a bit older, however the main themes of first loves and first experiences can be seen in both shows! both super cute and high rewatch value
