Jin Hyuk, Lee Ha Eung, and Hong Young Rae are to be prosecuted on charges of attempt to poison the Queen Dowager and act of treason. Hong Young Hwi visits Kim Kyung Tak to beg for Hong Young Rae’s life, but Kim Kyung Tak refuses. Later, Kim Kyung Tak meets the maid who conspires in poisoning the Queen Dowager and kills her after he found out the truth. As they are about to be hang to death, an officer arrives with the proclamation to stop the execution on the King’s command. Then, Lee Ha Eung is commanded by the King to death by poison.
