Fu Rong sneaks out of Ju Shui’s manor. On her venture, she bumps into Xu Jin, who is on high alert because he was almost assassinated. Somehow Xu Jin is captured in a net and is hanging on the tree. Fu Rong laughs at him and notes that their union brings upon misfortune to the both of them. She urges him to give her his clothes. Fu Rong runs away again, this time on a boat.
