Ryo even showed a little more emotion, towards the end of the episode when he notices his bird is missing and flew off. There was a look of terror and a lost look in his eyes, showing how much he cared for that small bird. I don't believe Ryo is a bad guy, either, rather closed off from the world. Obviously, something happened to him to make him so cold to others and turned off towards loving other humans.
Yuko suits him more than Miwa ever did. Although I have a feeling she's not going to be too happy once she hears that her best friend is hooking up with her boyfriend.
This episode showed a lot more depth, I'm looking forward to the rest a lot more now.
Yes, Ryo has a dark mysterious character but I am still sticking with my first opinion; he can't be a murderer, I noticed his house before, it's full of cages and give the feeling of a prison, just like the bird he's having. Meeting Yuko apparently changed him even a little.
Also, I told you that girl Yuki has issues, right? I mean she was going to leave burn marks so that Ryo would care about her? Yup, pretty much a psycho but you know what? Miwa isn't very different, I saw her attempt to kill the man who wants to marry her because of Ryo. Yuki and Miwa are simply a disgrace to women, I never liked a girl who will hurt herself or commit a crime because of a man, no matter how much she loves him, I mean he doesn't even care about them!
On another note, I appreciated the way Kanzo took care of Yuki, he understood her situation and treated her nicely and that's probably the only reason Yuki decided to open up for him at the end of the ep, I was thinking: "Just when there's a romantic development you decided to tell things that I was looking for episodes ago?" but anyway, I am looking forward to what will happen next because this is getting good.
