I’m going to watch other (lighthearted) dramas until the final airs next week. L&R is such a melodrama despite having a happy ending. 

This drama is giving me an emotional whipped lash. Crying in one episode then laughing in the next.

Yes!! I also think it would be much better if XJ found out she is MSX.

 I get he wants to protect her and stop YL but it's creating so many unnecessary misunderstanding. Just imagine she found out she is MSX, people want to kill her, he protect and guide her. She turn badass....... So much potential 

When SF distorted the art frescos of XJ with MSX, I was sighing...it felt worse since XJ wants to know about her past. 

My rating of the drama before the last six episodes is 8.5/10. Honestly, the 72 uncut version probably has better character + plot development.

This drama is streaming online and  I can't find a reason why they are trimmed it down to 59episodes instead of original 72episodes

I read somewhere that they shot a lot of raw content sufficient for 80episodes but it needs some reshoots which effecting budget n, even the  post-production is delayed by CG company may be one of the reason they trimming it down  at least I hope they release that unedited footage later for fans

SF used the demonic weapon that WQZ had which was made from a part of Mosha star to save XJ. The terms in Vietnamese and I'm guessing Chinese have a clear distinction from devil/monster and demons, but translated in English both of the terms translate to demons(this is my rough understanding of it). Since SF is not a demon(he is a devil/monster?) the power of that demonic weapon that he absorbed will eventually kill him. So even after XJ help get rid of his lovers curse, the demonic weapon that is still in him is affecting him to a point where he doesn't know how long he will live for which was one of the reasons why he was pushing her away when she found him. He settled in that little village because the cold lake(?) in that cave could help suppress(help him control?) the power of that demonic weapon according to WQZ. I'm still trying to figure out what the purpose of that herb the cave is supposed to be.

SF is a demon, in this show there are only 3 realms and Deity, Demons and Humans respectively "belong" to each of them. The Demonic weapon is made for the bones of mosha so it is extremely powerful that it is the only power to save XJ when she almost died trying to destroy the liuli lamp. However it is also too powerful to be in SF's body or anyone's body who is not able to contain it, not matter demon or deity. The temporary way to contain it is using the cold so he went to the cold South for the lake. The Lingzhi at the cave is a snow lingzhi that grows every 100 years and can suppress the power permanently.

They could have skipped the whole misunderstanding and still make it into a 59eps...i want to see more DiJu and MSX than SF being MSX.

I loved Si Feng pretending to be Mochaxing. He was still beautiful, but with unexpected malice (although he is actually an angel, and has wings.). This contrast between two opposites that he opposed was majestic (that fragile and sweet boy, suddenly it is something else, but still touching.). He is multifaceted.

P.S: As for Dijun Baidi (I'm with you. How I would like more scenes of him in the hevenly Realm being Djun (I loved this Dijun). He is very convincing, majestic, beautiful.
