Madame Dong Fang frames Si Feng for molesting her, but Xuan Ji saves him just in time. Xuan Ji tells Si Feng that Madame Dong Fang was saved by Dong Fang Sect Leader and later married him. She was the only person left after Fu Yu Island had killed a nearby demon clan and Si Feng concludes that she was also part of the clan. The reason why Dong Fang Sect Leader had acted so weirdly the day before was because madame was using the Gu Poison spell, which can gradually turn him into her puppet. Dong Fang Sect Leader catches his wife before she could fully control him, adn she says that she hates him and so on, but the sect leader dismisses the event and says that it was merely a joke. Deep into the night, Si Feng becomes drunk after playing a game to drink wine with Xuan Ji and two Fu Yu Island disciples and says a lot of stuff to Xuan Ji but she still doesn't understand his love for her. The next day, the deputy palace master of Li Ze Palace arrives on the island and demands Si Feng to go back and receive punishment. Xuan Ji stubbornly refuses to let Si Feng go, and breaks his Lover's Curse mask with a slash with her sword, which surprised the deputy palace master greatly, as it was said to be undestroyable. He recognizes the word as Ding Kun. Xuan Ji unleashes her powers and starts to fight with the deputy until Hao Chen passes by and stops them. They later go into the main hall where an argument starts about the fight.
