On the contrary to the review below, I think this episode and the ending was very beautiful. Everything was put back probably how it was supposed to be and eventhought the memories they had while time traveling are gone, the love and the soul connection remained. Li Zi Wei and Huang Yu Xian eventually still found their way to each other while Chen Yun Rus soul also got healed. This was probably the grand plan of the universe. To grant these kids who are good and innocent a better life and better understanding of life.
Well, thats what I took from the drama. There are definitely more ways to interpret it. Each viewer will have his own view on the story. and this is what makes an awesome high quality of a story. I am left with a satisfied and warm heart.

whoever marketed this drama as a romance was lying, it's a tragedy, and this last episode will make you BAWL for sure.
also, in the eng sub version I watched, this episode's title was: "Not all broken pieces can be put back together, just like the past we can not have." *cue the waterworks again*
