I can say that this movie is my very emotional one, because of the plot line that really hit me and the back in time part is the best where the story really started it is very remarkable. I give this movie a perfect score because I really think that this is a perfect movie.
The one that I really like in this movie is the Actors acting skill at first I really like Dew's acting skill and I'am really thrown away for his role and for Pom I really like him for his role (Adult) I'm amazed that my emotional health right now is keeping me awake!!! AAAHHHHH. I'am very thankful that I watched and learn about this movie.

I found it very intriguing this movie, it most definitely captured my attention in the beginning with the concepts of gay being taboo and the 'gay camps' and how it secretly related to our main actors. I wish it spent more time drawing the emotional ties to the main character because as soon as Phop ran away from home the time-lapse jumped to him being a grown man with a woman whom he was dating and having a job at his old school. Now that I've finished the movie I understand what that section of the movie was alluding to but it felt like I was watching an entirely different movie, the grown Phop was an amazing actor but it just seemed like it completely abandoned the story in the beginning. I loved the idea of Dew being reincarnated into the actor Lui even though she is a minor in high school and the physical barrier that separates them is legally enforced, regardless of who Lui is psychologically and emotionally. A disapointing roller coaster worth to watch, at least the first half
One of the biggest disapointments i had with a movie.The first half is stunning, visually, the 90's vibes, the OST... I am a huge fan of Ohm, for me he is one of the best actors that works on the BL industry, he is seriously skilled. I was in love, the first half.
The turning point from the plot is... stupidly bad. The supernatural, reincarnations, high school, age gap... just no. And trust me, i am not the person who is against making movies with socially unacceptable plots, i watch the weirdest things that are unconfortable to many and i am ok with it (i watched a dude tell how he was in love with a male GOAT for over 20 years and proced to have sex with a guy dress like one, and i laughed till i cried), is a movie and art is there to explore.
The problem is that it doesn't work, at all. And the old actor cannot stand a candle compared to the young ones. From there is a train wreck, and only a few scenes are kinda worth it.
The OST is a keeper. Ohm is a Keeper. If you want to see him in a supernatural kinda plot, a good one, go as fast as the light to He's comming to me.

If it weren't for Ohm and for the acting in this series I would have given it a 0 rating!I watched this movie because some people were saying it was good and had good acting. I wanted to watch it mostly for Ohm who did an excellent job as expected. But I must applaud the entire cast who where all good actors.
However, the story and the message behind it is just terrible. We jumped back to the point in which it says that, 'if you're in a gay relationship, you'll have a bad ending. If you're in a straight relationship, whatever mess your relationship may be, it will have a good end.'
I'm sorry but I absolutely HATED the story. They could have easily made Dew reincarnate as a guy but seeing as that wouldn't convey the above message, they didn't.
To anyone who wants to watch, just watch the first half. It's not wirth it to watch the rest of the story.

the story was so messed up. why did they choose female character just to be dew's reincarnation? being gay in homophobic society then Phop dated young student. they didn't accept it either so what's the point? what's different tho?honestly, the reason i watched it because ohm pawat and his performance was so good, he is dew. but the end the movie wasn't dew anymore. I mean, I get it ok but come on ohm pawat deserved get something better from this movie periodt
i mean why they didn't make dew movie full of gay rather than choose female characther to be dew's reincarnation hmm

The trailer was very compelling and I expected a better story than this. I didn't watch the original version and I came into this with a clean slate.The good:
The story started in 1996 with the 2 boys and setting being in the 90s was spot-on. I loved the little references like the Walkman, the cassettes tapes, the beeper etc. The acting of leads, Dew and Pop, was really good too. I loved how they portrayed the innocence as well as the confusion of young love in a time where there was so much discrimination against homosexuals. A few conflicts were a little bit cliched like the strict Chinese family and the gossip in a small town where everyone knows everyone. Although for me it made it more realistic which I appreciate. The cinematography was superb as expected from a CJMajor entertainment production.
The bad:
They made poor resolutions to connect the past to the present. I think they were going for the "love exists in forms" feel but it was inappropriately executed. This is just my opinion, but I didn't like the teacher-student bit in the older version of Pop. The actor and actress lacked chemistry, it made me feel uneasy. The younger version of Pop and Dew were pretty convincing although I think the build-up towards the crossing-the-line-from-friends-to-lovers was a bit weak. I wasn't entirely invested in their relationship yet. The overall story-telling needed polishing and timing.
Overall: Does not have a rewatch potential. Watch it if you want your mind to be boggled. I wish the 2 young leads will have a future project together.

My views on DEW movie
(please!.. correct me if I have written wrong english)Not gonna lie...I watched this film for Ohm pawat...its not like...I don't like his co-star(I didn't know him at that time)
The ending did hurt me a lot....but I also think that the ending was right in some way. Seeing their age gap..they wouldn't be able to date(I'm not talking about young dew and phob).
When I was watching Dew movie for the first time, I thought dew and phob would run away....and also when dew was reincarnated, my thought was they would run away...but they didn't .The suicide was unexpected totally. But don't know why I still like to rewatch it sometimes....to get a good cry maybe.

When First Love Transcends Time
First love, soulmates, unresolved feelings, grief, loss, coming-of-age—all in one story 😭I was so lucky to discovered this hidden gem dubbed as Tagalog on YouTube. I've watched the whole thing while working on my computer.
I really loved the location in the early scenes—it reminded me so much of my hometown. That nostalgic vibe just hit different. The movie follows the coming-of-age journey of two best friends who slowly fall for each other. But the catch is… they lived in a time when being gay wasn’t as accepted as it is now. The concept isn’t exactly new, but I don’t know—this one really stuck with me. Maybe because I’m a big fan of Ohm and his acting got me from the start. He’s the kind of actor who always knows how to break my heart—just like he did in Bad Buddy.
What shocked me though is how the second half totally shifts. It’s no longer a BL—it turns into a reincarnation story! I honestly felt a bit robbed, lol. Dew (Ohm) dies and is reincarnated as a girl, and they meet again years later. When I read the plot summary, I really thought they'd reunite as guys. Maybe I should’ve watched the trailer first 😂. Still, no regrets watching it. It’s such a beautiful piece. Prepare yourself though—this one’s a serious emotional roller coaster. Tissues are a must!
Shoutout to the actress who played the girl version of Dew—she really looked like Ohm! Perfect casting. Everyone did great, but Ohm? He’s just on another level. So versatile!

The important thing for me in the film is - love is eternal as is the soul, and the creators and actors portrayed this very beautifully. Dew (Ohm), Pob as a youngster (Nont), Pob as an adult (Weir) and Natcha (Pahn, although small in stature, but a beautiful, laid-back "schoolgirl" at 28 years old). For the "adults", I didn't notice that there was only a 6-year difference between them.
A completely deep and terrifyingly mystical experience...
The creators and all the actors contributed a lot to the project.
Sousloví spojené s tímto filmem: LÁSKA NEZNÁ HRANICE, ČAS ANI POHLAVÍ. Moc se mi vše líbilo, zaujalo mě to ... nádhera. Zasáhne to především tu část diváků, kteří mají duši naladěnou na strunu vnímání života lidí, kteří žijí v JV Asii a nemusí přemýšet, zda je všechno možné nebo je to zčásti fikce. Ty ostatní diváky příběh nezasáhne, protože tu klapku v duši mají zavřenou, ale to není urážka, každý člověk to prostě vnímá jinak.
To důležité pro mě ve filmu je - láska je věčná jakožto i duše, a to tvůrci i herci velice krásně ztvárnili. Dew (Ohm), Pob za mlada (Nont), Pob v dospělosti (Weir) a Natcha (Pahn, sice malého vzrůstu, ale nádherná, vyložená "školačka" ve svých 28 letech). U těch "dospělých" jsem nevnímal, že je mezi nimi rozdíl jen 6 let.
Naprosto hluboký a až děsivě mystický zážitek ...
Tvůrci i všichni herci do projektu přispěli mírou vrchovatou.

A heartbreaking piece
This is one of those movies that keeps you thinking about them for days after watching. I went in expecting a coming of age LGBT story and was met with something unlike anything I had seen before.Well, the first half of the film is beautiful, visually and plot wise. Ohm and Nont did an amazing job portraying the innocent blooming love between Dew and Phop, in a way that it's impossible not to get attached to the characters. So, even when you know things are about to go downhill, you still hope for them to run away together and find their happy ending, only to be met with the harsh reality of things.
The second half almost lost me, not gonna lie. I felt like the change in tone was too abrupt and I was too heartbroken to continue, but I'm glad I ended up giving it a chance! Even though the age gap was uncomfortable, once I realized Phop never showed any sexual or romantic interest in Liu and only saw her as Dew, I could enjoy the magic of Phop and Dew's reunion. Does that mean I think this part was perfect?? No, absolutely not. The message that love goes beyond time and everything could have been conveyed in a different manner. But, working with what we got, watching them finally see each other again not as Liu and adult Phop, but as the two boys that fell in love in their teenage years made my heartache.
About the ending, I still can't decided whether it was sad or happy. All I know is that Dew and Phop deserved better. And that by the time the credits started rolling, I was left in a state of shock, crying buckets.
Since I'm a sucker for drama and romance, I did enjoy this film and would recommend it to someone considering to give it a try. I also plan to rewatch it someday, if the sole memory of Dew and Phop ever stops giving me the urge to cry.
In general, the actors definitely deserve recognition for their brilliant performances, specially Ohm and Nont. I hope to see them together again in another project one day!

Reincarnation Genre Movie
Dew The Movie....Yup, first time to watch this kind of movie and genre that was filmed in thailand of course with thailand actors as well.
I was really curious at first why the audience keep on commenting that this was a tragic story, how does it becomes a tragic one, who is dew and what is the story all about until i watched it. And trust me being a curious person does really good to you sometimes if you were really want to see, hear and know the things that you want.
Story....
Yah, i love it....
It is not my first time to watch the reincarnation story but this is the first one in the movie specifically in the mention country.
I thought that after 23 years they will meet again as is but the partner of the main lead reincarnated in the body of a girl, not just a girl but his student, with an age gap. That was a big twist. Not expecting that. Being fan of a bl genre i thought that their love will continue as reincarnated in a body of a boy.
I was expecting more and loving the flow of the story as i watch it. It was like i was expecting what will comes next with this scene and that scene. I love how the love story of the two boys bloom on the first part, as expected from the actors they were great really.
The reincarnation part... That was unexpected for the first timers who will watch the movie.
The setting of the story was new to me... That was refreshing...
The cinematography.... It really shows the difference of the past and present of the story...

Really.... I love the cast..... it was like they live their role on it...
Ohm Pawat... It is not the first time i've watched him in this kind of genre but he really did great.. i am not expecting it on him... He was really a great actor, he serves his role well.

The girl who was reincarnation of Dew.... Yah i love her.... I love how she manages to act in here role specially when she was being partnered with an old guy.
