Rainbow Town (2019)

A healing surprise!

I've started subtitling this drama,which means I spend a lot of time with not only the drama itself but also the characters.Now for some it might seem like a typical rom-com.But despite only having watched 23 episodes so far I have to say that you're in for a surprise. Actors : I know that the dubbing is heavy.Theres a lot.But it does not bother me at all.I love all the actors' dynamics. They usually bicker a lot but they also end up working together on this huge project. I can emphasize with some of the characters . The main female lead is a headstrong ,determined woman. But that's not all that is to her. She has her own raw emotions.The same goes for the main male lead.Don't be fooled by his demeanor. Although he often seems to be like a child , he has a warm demeanor at heart,he just cant express himself well.A delight as well are the other three guys. I truly love how they have their own individual careers ,that are so different from each other ,but they all are such good friends. (ig they grew up together ?! Will see it later)Also the characters making funny remarks about each other is funny tho .(those aren't hurtful ofc) The ost : is really great. In total there are four songs only. The outro is my favourite so far. The plot : I really enjoy the plot to be honest. More than I thought I would. 6 people meet by chance and end up saving a town together. Although it is a rom-com,you do see a lot of scenes where they are working,which makes it more realistic to me as well. All of them are 25 sth years old and all are rather successful. And one of them has a father that is blocking him from reaching his dreams. But I'm sure he'll struggle free from it. I shall end my drama praise here though. -Mia
