The Innocent Man

세상 어디에도 없는 착한남자 ‧ Drama ‧ 2012
The ML in TDA wouldn’t take advantage of the female lead, but in behavior they seem alike especially the drama with OW. Both are equally as gripping doe.

By the description of Revolver, it's already sounding like the kdrama "The Innocent Man." Both seem to have someone take a fall for someone who committed a crime and the other taking a revenge to those who wronged them.

Both the stories show you
1)How a nice person can be made evil due to the circumstances thrown at them, eg; Maru from Innocent Man, Yoo Kyung from King of Baking.
2)The love affairs that end in fatal attraction situations eg: Seo In Suk and Han from KOB and Jae Hee and Anh from IM

They are both about men who sacrificed themselves for the girl they love.

The themes are similar - the lead having many injustices committed against him, later 'coming back to life' to seek revenge against those who have wronged him etc.
Also, both are melodramas. And believe, things do turn dramatic indeed. Many twists and turns in the plots of both stories. And both shows feature Kim Young Chul in it.

It's melodrama, Directed by the same Director, Kim Jin Won. You will see abit similarities in terms of tone. Both male lead has the same curly hair, sad eyes, and live in a poor family background. Both drama start from circumstance which make our leads trapped in the past because of one traumatic event that make their life changed.

These two dramas give you the same kind of vibe, involving: a bad female, the obsession of the male lead over his first love, framing, memory loss, stepping on your own family to get to the top and even the end gives you the same vibe. But Rooftop Prince is more a rom-com, while Innocent Man is definitely a melo-drama.

they are both writer lee writings...this is also a revenge genre - even though this time the lead seeks revenge from his mother - both are emotionally outstanding - and both have pure love stories

Both male leads start to develop feelings for the female lead after approaching her for ulterior revenge driven motives. Both are angsty melodramas that play with your emotions.

Both revenge dramas that include romance. ToW is a lot longer, but I don't feel like it's dragged (start from episode 30 if you aren't patient)
