ASK MDL: Parental Ties Virtues of Harmony is a long-running sitcom from Hong Kong, lasting 327 episodes with two direct seasons. Produced by Tsui Yu On, the sitcom was a TVB production and aired five days a week from September 17, 2001 to December 28, 2002. Classic HK TVB show
Must watch for any TVB fans! Brings together a nice modern family dynamics and comedy in a historical setting. IIRC this was the first TVB show to use "modern" Cantonese speech in a historical context.Plenty of fun characters and storylines to follow. Also provided a lot of breakthrough roles for newbie actors who are now popular.
Very easy to rewatch and put on in the background
