Unasked Family (2019)

I feel compelled to write a review because I clearly enjoyed it much more than the other reviewers. It's flawed, and not the best family drama I have ever watched, but it is an engaging drama that I couldn't stop watching. I really liked all the characters, even the annoying ones and the antagonists, and I also really liked the main couple. The drama picks up around 10 episodes in, and afterwards it has good pacing and I didn't feel like it dragged much. I usually hate half-hour drama formats, but it felt like the half-hour episodes in this drama were actually designed to function as a full episode alone, not just one half a full episode, which I appreciated. The writing wasn’t anything good or special (for example, the eavesdropping plot device was used SO MANY times) but it wasn’t bad either. My only real problem with this drama was the end of the corruption plot. Otherwise, though, I really liked the ending and the drama as a whole.

The starting of this series shows a good promising around 1-10 episode, then the series starts to go downhill with poor character development and awful interaction.

Story
The story line was acceptable but the execution by each character makes you question the whole series plot. The issue is does normal married couple who lost his/her spouse would go on to live with their in-laws? The FL has a fucking father and a family house where she can live. Obstacle in relationship there is none, the story does not focus on the single mom status, that is why the plot took an easy way out of this issue by making the ML as an orphan. Would make a better story if the FL was the orphan living with the in-law. The whole story was just a poor writing.

Acting/Cast
The character development was stagnant, no one improving or changing except the antagonist. The leading or main couple was disappointing and makes you think you should drop this show.

Music
Is there any memorable ost? Nope.

Rewatch Value
Even if you have all the free time in the world i wouldnt use that time to watch this, instead it would be better if you use it for sleeping time.
