I have met wonderful people from Africa. My ex neighbor in south Florida is from Africa, I don’t remember the country, other neighbors from Etiopía in my other house there, wonderful people and I met a friend in disqus. She lives there and we talk through WhatsApp. She is so kind 💕
It’s so nice how we can befriend people from all over through shared interests! I’ve been chatting more with you all than with my own friends.
Wish we could all meet in person one day!

Oh yeahhh she's even above toxic but since I left. I made arrangements to never have to deal with her again. Peace in life is attainable when we want strongly
That’s awful but it so good that you’re safe now. Family is so important and it’s heartbreaking to see things like that.
Sending virtual hugs to you 🤗

Me too. I’ve met wonderful people through this app and in disqus too. I met a friend there. She lives in LA. She is now traveling in Korea and other countries of Asia. She sent me pictures of architecture from there because she knows that I’m an architect and she sent me a picture of hello kitty with my name 💜💜.
Another thing that I love when I moved to the United States, was the blessing to meet people from around the world. In Colombia it wasn’t like that. I only met once someone from Spain and another from Argentina and that’s it. In south Florida there is so many diversity

I see I’m west african❣ but from Colombia to the USA it didn't make a big change of environment for you when you lived there that long?

Ohhhh Yess I totally see. In France, it's the same since it's a country with many people from different origins. It's the same effect as the USA.

It did because in Colombia we are pretty close to my family. And I don’t have any family here, so the first year was soooooo hard, living in another country, married so I almost wanted to go back to Colombia. But then things started to change for good but unfortunately I moved last year in June to another state and it hasn’t been easy for me at all. I don’t know anyone here and to move again after living there for 21 years. For my kids obviously isn’t an issue because they have their school, their new friends, their soccer. For my husband neither because he is working and he is pretty friendly so he is fine but I could do anything to move back to south Florida again. There I had friends, good neighbors, the weather that I love because I hate cold weather. This house is gorgeous but that really doesn’t matter to me 🥹

Oh my dear 🥲 i guess it well it must have been hard when you attach yourself to a place. It reminds me of my father with his homesickness. He has to go back and forth constantly because he likes being in the Ivory Coast more because he has all friends, place he likes , habit, etc. there but not here.
