I found LYF book on Aliexpress I'm hesitating to buy it knowing Jing is endgame. Can someone tell me if Jing in the book is better than in drama ? Or they’re really 100% adapt the book ☹️ I can do without buying it, I already took LBFD, Si Ming & ALP, and TTEOM maybe I’m going to take BFTB& LYST instead but I need to know I’m not going to to be disappointed with Jing in the book too ?

In my personal opinion, he was better in the book since he had less of a presence there 🤣🤣 More like a supporting character rather than second male lead. He did less stalking too.

In the drama, I still feel his supporting character vibe throughout.
The way the writers are bending over backwards to make him more of a protagonist in the second season, based on what we know of that awful script is laughable. It's a pity that TJC is involved in this mess, but I can't wait to witness the book readers' wrath.
