I was so excited when I watched this scene for the first time. I was like
I really thought they were going to be endgame before I read all the spoilers/novel. Now that the fox was out of the picture because he got married, FFB/XL had a chance. I even made a Viki timed comment about it lol.

I wish they would just throw caution to the wind and secretly be with each other for 50 - 100 years before XL had to go die in the battlefield. Honestly, being together for a short time is better than all the times she had or ever will have with that fox (sorry, not sorry) x

Wouldn't that be awesome? Instead, we have to make do with a few years in Q Town, when XY was a man. sigh. And STILL those had some much TENSION and romance.
