That censorship is so frustrating. We can't have the female lead look like she's obviously in love with another man that's not the endgame. No way. Can't let her have the forehead kiss either.

The YaoLius who read the novel when it first came out are going to be so mad once they watch season 2 and see all the scenes that were changed/cut. I think I read liddi or someone else in the other thread say the Snake Book Club on Weibo are already so pissed at some of the changes in season 1.

Yes, his partner in the police force is like 6' 2".  There's a great scene in an elevator, where his partner is at the back, and he steps in and you can see how much shorter he is.  Here's another pic that gives you an idea of height differences.
