Everytime I think I've seen all of the Tan Jian Ci appearances, another one pops up. This is a clip from his appearance in March 2019 on Happy Camp, the predecessor of Hello Saturday. Apparently, he's on some sort of dating game where one of the bachelorettes is ... Bai Lu!!

I hadn't seen any of it before, so it was a welcome sight on Facebook. Then I tracked down the whole episode, which had more Tan Jian Ci!

The words are that those costumes were only for the photo shoots for the posters. The fans apparently mention that TJC and YZ stayed behind a little longer than the rest of the cast - I guess this is where the rumour that they shot something special came from. Will they do another Hi!6 appearance to promote Season 2, though? Otherwise, I don't see why they would show whatever it was that they taped -if they taped anything at all, that is.
I really hope that the increasing amount of leaks for Winner is King is a positive indication that perhaps it will be allowed to air some day in the (near) future. And it does say a lot when a happy ending for Xiang Liu is deemed less likely than the broadcast of a drama subject to censorship laws.
There have been quite consistent leaks of Winner is King as of late. I certainly hope that we will get to see it sooner rather than later. I think a few smaller BL productions have been released on the overseas versions of the platforms, so maybe they might do the same for Winner is King.
Rather than hoping for a happy ending for Xiang Liu, I would be happy if she would just revisit her unfinished LYF prequel 千方相 and give us more of Xiang Liu.
I would take more Xiang Liu rather than no Xiang Liu, but the fact that I know his outcome will probably be a shadow over any prequel. Unless the prequel incorporated something that give hope that he could be alive at the end of LYF. I don't think any of these are likely to happen though :-(
Today is going to be a Tan Jian Ci overload! Besides that movie announcement (yessssssssss!) I think he's doing THREE live events today. Right now, he's in a mall in Shanghai doing a Hogan appearance.
And he's supposed to do a livestream for Lemon Tea this evening? At 20:00.
And I think he's doing something either for Madame Tussards or Pallidium.

Yes. There were pics and reuters of Tan Jian Ci and Jin Shi Jia walking down a hill and then rolling around on the ground ... yesterday or the day before. And today, there was a statement from the Under the Skin2 company asking people not to do that and not to share the leaks and spoil the show.
