I don't think so. He's clearly doing this on a day off from filming Under the Skin. I don't know how he does it. He must really love acting.
I'm waiting for Love Has Fireworks too, but all I've seen is rumors. The way things are going, both Tan Jian Ci and ZWY are going to have shows coming out monthly.

The thing about dramas is that you are also dealing with actor fans so the results may not be a true/accurate reflection about the characters and pairings. With the novel's fans, XL was probably the most popular character and YaoLiu was the most popular pairing. The character of XY was not really well-liked amongst the novel's fan.
