There are so many memes of his crying and while I should be sad I can't help but laugh. But the memes with the glasses always kill me 😂 especially when they started putting them on XY.

Definitely, FL must be included. If I could, in this AU I would give CX the role of loving platonic brother with many wives that never quite seem to match up to his relationship with his ever-present brother-in-law FL.

He's too smart and socially competent for that. XY is the one who has scandals and faux pas, and then CX handles the fallout for her. 

But I do feel like sometimes CX has XY goggles on where all the women around him are just mentally labelled "Not Xiao Yao" except for XY, who is, of course, "My Xiao Yao <3!!"

Truly. Reputation-ruining runaway-bride scandal aside, there's a funny little example in chapter 44 where XY accidentally insults ZX and his Empress in front of all of ZX's consorts and XY thinks to herself that she's really not suited to behaving properly at important events.
