Hyung-Tae tells Nan-Hee that he is disappointed in her because she's been quietly looking for a place to rent. He pleads with her to stay until she submits her entry to the Spring Essay Contest. Nan-Hee gets teary-eyed and tells him she wants to leave the apartment before her feelings for him become too deep. She says their friendship has reached its limits. what I really like about this drama is how complicated the relationship between the main characters has become. It's very realistic. Unlike other dramas i've seen, that go from hate/indifference to destined love, this one explores all the complicated in betweens.
The realization that they should probably live separately is finally setting in. It's heartbreaking, not in a tearjerking way, but it's still emotional. When you're confused about your feelings how can you be clear about them with someone else? Maybe the fact that I've had a similar friendship plays a role, but I've slowly fallen in love with this drama.
