Fang Li and Molly are prevented from attending an exam after arriving 30 minutes late. They are instead offered a make up exam next semester for which they have to pay. Fang Li also misses her chance for the scholarship as result. Luo Yan comforts her. Fei Fei confronts Jiayi after realizing that she had purposely shut off the alarms. Shi Xu tries to calm her down, but his plan with Jiayi slips out and Fei Fei dumps him. She and Fang Li go back home. Her Grandma finds out about her exam disaster and is extremely upset. She works part time to get extra cash and doesn't reply to Luo Yan's messages much to his dismay. He visits her home. He gets stuck at her home after her Grandma returns and is discovered in the morning. Her Grandma faints from High Blood Pressure and misunderstands the situation. A very worried Fang Li loses her temper at him. Jiang Laoshi meets him and takes him or a visit to the old school. He remembers how harsh he had been to her and decides to tell confess.
