It's the sweetest drama ever♥️.
I literally got butterflies in my belly which is rare when he said "not as painful as my heart". The part where the boy cries because he was not able to protect his girl really teared me up because i am not that emotional when it comes to dramas and its the first drama ever that made me tear up.There are a lot of sweet scenes and beautiful bonding with the entire team. Also the main leads were so real .I really hope there will be season 2 or another drama with the same cast.I really appreciate the entire team for presenting this beautiful drama with a lot of sweetness. You will not regret watching this.Ps-its the first time i am rating and giving a review because i really love it and i donot dare not to rate it.I have not finished the complete drama yet but i know its gonna be very good.I cannot resist myself from rating it so that many people can watch it and there will another season or another drama with the same cast.

Top 5 favourite
This drama is by far my favourite. I have rewatched this drama so my times that my sister even came into my room saw Xu Kai and said is it that show again, and just left the room. The cast is so good and the dynamics between the characters is hilarious.
I love when Si Cheng came home to the base with the kitten and gave her an ultimatum that involved the kitty. The way Xu Kai just portrays Si Cheng when they are in the cinema the second time was adorable. The whole scene was so sweet and cute, his little 'hmph' when she didn't kiss him was adorable.
All the chemistry between Xu Kai and Chen Xiao is amazing they made the drama come to life and made it the best show I have watched.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start watching Asian dramas and this would definitely get them hooked. I watched the whole of the series in around three days and I haven't regretted it since.

One of the best Chinese dramas I've watched recently
This drama was so good that I had to write my first review on this website for it. Usually, for these type of ongoing romcoms, I would leave it till it finishes broadcasting to binge it all, but this show was so interesting from the trailer that I could not even wait till it ended to start watching! The chemistry, filming, script and plotlines to me were so perfectly done I love this show so much. The friendship and character development was so endearing to watch and I have grown so attached to every single character in this show. The main leads, Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao, did such a great job in bringing the characters to life and had SO much chemistry I was always swooning each episode. The ZGDX members, as well as the other teams, have such wholesome interactions and dynamic I got teary watching them sometimes.
I raelly liked how they showed them gaming, training and living their lives as e-sports athletes as well, instead of focusing too much on the loveline and disregarding the main theme and genre of this drama. Each actor did a very good job in this show and the humour was straight up my alley. Lu Sicheng will always stand near the top of my list of male lead characters with his personality and top-tier visuals.
Because of this show, I have found a new genre of C-dramas that I fell in love with, as well as a group of amazing actors and actresses to support. If you are considering whether to give this show a shot, I say definitely go for it! This was one of the very rare times I watched a Chinese drama ongoing despite its number of episodes, and I do not regret it at all.
Overall, a really great production! Definitely one of my favourites amongst all Chinese dramas I've watched.

A Fun Romance between Gamers
Finally back to writing reviews. I’ve watched many shows since the last time I wrote a review but I was just too lazy to take notes on the episodes and how I felt. I re-watched this show a whole month ago but didn’t get to write the review because I fell into a slump. I’m back though. This show is super popular because it has Xu Kai as the male lead, and honestly, I enjoyed this show a lot the first time I watched it. However, after rewatching the show I can say I still enjoyed the show, yet, I wouldn’t say it was super crazy good like how I felt watching Amidst a Snowstorm of Love and Love Me, Love My Voice, etc. The characters were fun to watch, the plot was all about e-sports (which I actually really enjoyed), but I felt like it was missing something to make the show better.Beware of Spoilers Moving Forward!!!!!!!!!
What Episode did the Main Couple Start Dating?
OMg. They literally take a whole third of the show just to establish the fact they are dating. They are officially together in Episode 21.
I don’t mind slow burns, and in this case it was fine because there is a lot of plot in this show in terms of gaming and the e-sports world. There is also just a lot of hesitation between the two, as her ex-boyfriend, Jiang Yang, was also an e-sports professional gamer and they lost contact because of it, and therefore, she originally didn’t want to have a relationship with anyone in the same field. She also hesitates as the fandom is highkey crazy and a lot of people were convinced they were already dating before, and were already shit-talking Tong Yao for “seducing” Si Cheng.
Si Cheng asks Tong Yao very casually in episode 20 if she wants to try, and she asks “try what?” and he says, me. LOLOLOLOL I almost died here. In episode 21, she thinks he was joking, and was very indecisive on what to do but she almost confessed in a previous episode so I don’t know what she was hesitating for. She then accepts him later in this episode.
Misunderstandings?
They have a misunderstanding in Episode 17 after Tong Yao gets into a fight at an event with another lady who was in charge of that event. She pushes the lady and that lady makes a whole video accusing Tong Yao of physically hurting her and it goes viral. Tong Yao gets banned for one game. During this time, Si Cheng isn’t talking to her and Tong Yao is butt- hurt about it. He explains later on in Episode 18.
There’s also another time in Episode 26 where Si Cheng is acting cold and distant with Tong Yao after the harmful package incident with Tong Yao. He ignores her and acts cold with her for days. In Episode 27, Tong Yao asks Si Cheng if they’re breaking up because he’s been cold, however, he consoles her and tells her he’s just angry at himself that he can’t protect her.
Love Triangles?
LOOOOOOOOOL This show is essentially a harem. Every captain from almost every team loves Tong Yao akjsndkfjsdfs. It was kinda funny. But jokes aside. There really isn’t a love triangle at all.
Jiang Yang tries to get Tong Yao back, however, she was very set in stone that she wouldn’t take him back. She explains to Jiang Yang that the reason she doesn’t want to get back with him is because he never treated her as someone who could walk alongside him.
Another funny character who was obsessed with Tong Yao was Kun from FNC, he was soooo funny. I laughed the whole time his character appeared on screen. He just felt like comedic relief tbh.
Second Leads Romance
OMGGGG. Ai Jia and Jin Yang were so fun to watch honestly. Zhou Yi Ran. my love. My obsession. My fav c-drama actor. Akjsndfkjsnkdfs. Zhou Yi Ran playing Ai Jia was a delight to watch. The first time I watched him was in When I Fly Towards you and his character is so different in Falling Into Your Smile. Their romance was different, but honestly, very true. Jin Yang had no interest in the world of e-sports but she supported Ai Jia throughout it. She ended up buying his team too LOL. and she helped him reconnect with his mom again after she kicked him out for wanting to be a professional e-sports gamer.
Falling Into Your Smile Ending
Falling Into Your Smile has a happy ending where they win at the finals thanks to Tong Yao. Then, we watch Ai Jia and Jin Yang get married and Tong Yao catches the bouquet. It was a typical sweet ending.
Falling Into Your Smile Review- A Fun Romance between Gamers
I gave this show a 7.5/10. I enjoyed it thoroughly as it was a fun show to watch with e-sports, friendship, romance, conflicts, etc. If I’m being completely honest the reason why I can’t rate the show any higher is because I just felt the show was mediocre at best. I don’t know how to explain it. I was happy when the main leads got together, and honestly, some of the conflicts were fun to watch and I understood how they dealt with it. However, it was just a fun watch. I can't say that I was obsessed and eager to finish the show. I think the reason I couldn’t enjoy this show to the fullest was because Cheng Xiao’s acting in this show was mediocre at best. She kind of always had a poker face throughout the show aksjbfksds.
The e-sports plot was fun to watch and I did really enjoy that part of the show as this was my first time seeing a plot like this. The fandom being crazy for the guys were super real, the chronic injuries that professional e-sports gamers face was shown, the stigma of being a professional gamer was also explored. I really appreciated and enjoyed these arcs in the story.
Falling Into Your Smile is a fun watch where you see pro-gamers explore the world of romance, team bonding, dealing with societal stigmas on gaming, etc. I did enjoy the show and it was a cute, fun watch and I didn’t regret the time I took to watch it.

No.1 eSports drama
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews but to me it was really an awesome and mind blogging drama. While waiting for next episodes, I have nearly watched the drama six times but I didn't get bored and can even watch it a few more time...the casting, acting, timing of events, games clips, concept everything was just perfect...all of you must watch it, don't waste my good intentions. A beautiful combination of romance, team spirit, friendship and of course the pets are really impressive as well. And most importantly, it shows how hard it is to become an eSports player by hearing the insults, bearing the interference of fans in personal life and the thirst to win after days of practising....anyway you can't understand it until you watch itWas this review helpful to you?

THE BEST E-SPORTS DRAMA!
Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVED this drama so much! I fell in love with Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao while watching this and I seriously hope that they can have another drama together again someday. Why I loved this drama:
-The pacing of the drama was just right. Nothing was rushed or too slow.
-They incorporated the e-sports element perfectly and I really enjoyed watching ZGDX compete! They added just enough of the animations of the game during the competitions, but it wasn't too much that it was boring. This drama actually made me want to try Onmyoji Arena and now I'm slightly obsessed with gaming. Overall, the balance between the drama, romance, and e-sports was really well done.
-CHENG GE WAS LITERALLY SO PERFECT. Tall, handsome, rich, protective, AND had a good personality!? I loved him! He was also sooooo smooth with his flirting (especially in that scene where Tong Yao was saying how she's never even held his hand THEN HE HELD HER HAND). His flirting was light and smooth and not cringe at all!
Side note: his Korean dubbing was ATROCIOUS. Still love him though! LOL.
-Tong Yao was a great female lead! She may have been crushing on Cheng Ge since the beginning, but she was never overly dramatic or cringey about it. She was also very strong and not a weakling who let people step all over her. She even defended her ZGDX teammates in that one scene. Really loved her!
-Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao's chemistry was really on point. They made me so giddy so many times during this drama (esp the elevator scene, that one scene they were both sick and fell asleep on Cheng Ge's bed, and first time holding hands scene).
-The kisses were on point! They did not do the wide eyed cringey fish kisses. The kisses were actually great and showed their chemistry!
-This drama showcased just how much the internet and jealous fans can affect celebrities personal lives (which does not only apply to e-sports gamers).
-I really liked Ai Jia and Jin Yang as a second couple! They gave insight on the real experiences/problems of pro e-sports players (parents not supporting them, not having enough time for each other, jealous fans, etc.).
-I loved how the ZGDX team really became a family and how the other members really protected Tong Yao and treated her like a sister. Seriously loved them all ESPECIALLY XIAO PANG hahahaha! He always walked in at the wrong moment and was just such an adorable and hilarious character.
Overall, I LOVED this drama so much and it is probably my all time favorite e-sports/Chinese drama ever! I definitely experienced that empty post-drama depression feeling after watching it and I was OBSESSED with Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao after. Took me a couple days to get over it and move on lol. I highly recommend!

Glad the show is pushing boundaries and challenging stereotypes
I decided to watch this drama after reading others’ reviews and because of Xu Kai. I watched the male lead in Arsenal Military Academy and found him pretty great. (I think he’s better in AMA than in this drama though.)Watch this drama because:
- I like that the female lead is feisty enough and that she is able to hold her own fort. She’s a force to be reckoned with without taking away her femininity. I think there’s no need to be a man to play e-sports and she shows that a woman can do the job as well as or perhaps, even better than a man.
- I like that boundaries are being pushed and stereotypes are being overturned and challenged. The person who can do the job is the best candidate for that position regardless of the person’s gender.
- The cast is quite good on the whole. Watchable.
- Makes viewers understand e-sports a bit more.
- Plot is fairly interesting.
- There is sweetness and fluff.
- I like a strong female lead and a faithful male lead.
- Happy ending.
- The second female lead is cute.
What I didn’t like:
- Some parts were frustrating (as with almost all dramas).
- Some actors took a while to get okay like Old K.
- About 3-4 episodes after ep 20 were confusing and painful to watch because the male lead was not communicative.
Overall, a good enough watch. I would not give it more than an 8/10 though.
A ‘can-watch’ drama.

My favorite drama
A few things makes this my favorite drama:1) Humor. It's the kind of humor I like and the music fits perfectly.
2) Actors. Well casted and each person plays their part perfectly.
3) No annoying characters. One of the reasons why I might stop watching a drama midway is secondary characters being annoying. If the FL's best friend is too whiny, if a mean girl is too annoyingly mean for too long, or if an ex is too clingy. That doesn't happen in this drama.
4) ML's lines. His sarcasm is absolutely hilarious.
5) Chemistry. It's not just the ML and FL's chemistry, it's the entire cast's chemistry. You can tell they're just having a great time filming this drama. The set must have been a super fun place.
All in all, I've been watching this drama on repeat for like, the seventh or eighth time. It's my new background show, beating out Pride and Prejudice (6 hour version) and Lord of the Rings (extended version).
This and Reset are my only 10.0 rated dramas.

All Time Favorite
I normally never re-watch a drama until maybe a year or so later. But this drama is a must! The storyline is amazing and I enjoy the fluff in this drama. Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao has great chemistry but Cheng Xiao as a new actress did as best as should could. Overall 10/10! Side note, I play LoL so I have a better understanding of the terminology and gameplay. LoL is generally a toxic community and personally, I don't see any problems with this drama. Give "Falling into your Smile" a shot regardless of all the toxic reviews. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama tells about how teamwork must do and being a good sport. This is romantic cute drama that you will surely love, I love the friendship they have. I love also the chemistry of Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao that makes me want to have a Season 2 or new drama that they are the lead role or the couple. I can watch this drama again and again. I must recommend this. The love story of a cute girl and a serious type of guy that is in to a e-sports. Their love story is very cute and you feel in love.

Almost perfect comfort drama
This is my favorite drama ever, I don't have a second drama that I liked as much as this one, almost everything was perfect, if someone likes e-sports and enjoys romance then this drama is perfect for them to watch, even if it doesn't reflect the e-sports world perfectly, it shouldn't matter in drama in my opinion. This drama gave me a lot of comforting feeling, and I really fell in love with this title, I hope someone will watch it from my recommendation.
