Queen of Ambition

Both dramas have a dark and gritty element. Both have to do with infidelity on spouses. Both have to do with a man who gives the world to his woman, yet she still wants more. Valid Love deals more with common people, whereas Queen of Ambition deals with common people, one needing to be more.

I watched secret first and it's one of my favorite revenge dramas, but I have never seen such a blood boiling drama in all my life as QOA.

Both are revenge dramas, and both deal with very mature subject matter. Qoa, death of a child, missing you deals with rape and other really touchy issues.

The FL is ruthless and will do anything to get to and stay at the top. Both FLs are ruthless and extremely manipulative, as well as cold-hearted. Most of the characters in both shows are morally grey.

The plot reminds me of Misty. Strong willed and ambitious female protagonist with a man beside them who is willing to do everything to the female character for love or obsession. If you're looking with similar feel and character try this drama and it'll give you an emotional rollercoaster ride.

In both series, the characters forget about their loved ones..in their paths to success..

While Rosy Lovers concentrates more on family affairs, Queen of Ambition goes beyond that and shows the dark desires of human nature.

Queen of Ambition charcter - Joo Da Hae is similar to Kang Seo Yeon both of them achieved their greeedy ambition but ended up in downfall. They have habitual lying and
threatening people by using their weaknesses which are their secrets. Both of them
ended up regretting their wrongdoings.

Both FLs are villains who would do anything to satisfy their ambition and their hunger for power. However, they're both extremely complex too, with tragic backstories explaining their motivations.

What made The Promise and Queen of Ambition similar is that

-the main characters' lovers left them and their children for them to marry into a wealthy family.

-They ended up as a single mother/single father.

-Both main characters supported the study of their lover but they ended up betrayed by their lover.

-The main characters' have twin siblings and they have mistook them as the main characters and was killed by accident or murder.

-The main character chose to pretend as their sibling and to avenge their siblings' death and their goal is to revenge on the person responsible for their siblings' death.

-Both the main characters have their children killed also.

-The main characters' character development is really good.

-Both dramas are good makjang
