Mostly Good, Poor Finish
I really enjoyed this drama for the first 20 or so episodes. After that, the story seemed to become slightly messy, scenarios didn't make a lot of sense (particularly towards the end) and it just felt very rushed. The ending really disappointed me too. Some examples of when it felt quite rushed included Mingye's disappearance after the lightning incident that lost him his arm. Also when crown prince Jun was "killed" it was swept past and forgotten about. The last episode felt like a rushed mess, and it was quite confusing.E.g. second couple die, magically reappear at the end with a one line explanation of how they could still be alive (which i didnt even notice at first and had to rewatch), Master Mu supposedly gave up his spiritual energy to crown price Jun (which felt like a sacrafice) but still turned up at the wedding to take the bride away (i assume to the world she came from) with literally no explanation of what was going on. I can't accept the fact that the character would just choose to leave everything behind. The fact that a character that was always portrayed as a good character (master Wu) could so quickly turn so bad when he showed no signs of his past love affecting him ever before.
This sounds negative but I promise it isn't. Most of the drama flows well and the story makes outstanding sense. A really enjoyable drama for those parts!

Fantastic episodes 1-29 but a questionable 30
I enjoyed episodes 1-29 thoroughly and was wondering during these episodes why it lost out to 'A female student arrives at the Imperial College' in rating on mydramalist.com. Both dramas featured the tall handsome Xu KaiCheng with settings in an academy. Being a fantasy drama, this story was definitely more interesting. My question was answered in the last episode when it ended wishy-washy and open-ended with a lot of unanswered questions. In contrast, the ending for the Imperial College drama was very well crafted - heart-rending and yet with positive vibes. The beginning and ending of a drama are very important. The beginning determines whether we would watch on, the ending leaves the parting impression. This ending looks like it is preparing for a sequel but as we all know, sequels can take years before it can even start filming - just look at Joy of Life. And at times a flop - like the sequel to Journey of Flower.
However, I enjoyed the humour during the initial one-third as the reincarnated and cunning Feng Wu (lead female) tricked Jun LingYuan (lead male) and Yu Ming Ye (second male lead) who were from two opposing camps and played them against each other. Her ultimate aim was to steal the celestial fruit to help her regain her lost power. Subsequently, they ended up in the same academy while a conspiracy was brewing. The intense rivalry was attention riveting too.
The second lead was Wang Hao Xuan who acted the good-looking evil Xue Yang from The Untamed, who left a deep impression. As I realised, he has a lot of fans from that drama. In terms of actresses, the leading actresses were all very good looking, especially the second lead.
Excellent backdrop, interesting scenes (except the last), good looking cast and some would even say nice music. Watch and you may enjoy it but be ready for a disappointing ending.

Second lead sqaud here! Get ready to get second lead syndrome ??
Synopsis given here is not totally true. Wht? a girl from modern world named meng or something? Istg there is not even a single second her name or her life in modern world was shown in the whole drama. I agree at one or two places she used modern slang but they didn't showed us about her true identity even in last episode. The writer messed up with the ending, maybe for season 2? But we didn't even know when will we get s2.Some said second fl turned villain and annoying and didn't like her. To be honest she nailed her character.
Let's talk about the main part of the story second male lead the best character in the whole drama. Okay second lead syndrome hits hard no very very hard like bro sacrificed his power position dignity family and even himself to save her. (He even lost his hand TT) but bro still protected at all cost till the last minute. He helped her in whatever she does (literally in every single thing) with every possible way. He didn't even get jealous of ml and never tried to make misunderstandings Btw them or tried to harm the ml or others just becoz they liked her and he even helped the ml to escape from his family so that the fl will not be sad TT . He even cut off ties with his family and risked his life in a very dangerous situation just to save her without even thinking about anything. While the ml hesitated some times to fight against his family for her.his one side love for her is strong af. He confessed her even though he knows she loves ml and said to her directly this and asked her to be his frnd but he did not revenge them but respected her love for ml and still loved her with whole heart till the last. He helped her literally 80% and got injured or getting caught while the ml only did the 20% of help but he stil got nothing? He liked her, want her to be happy, protected her, loved her Like bro he is the standard!!! He didn't even get atleast another good girl for him but ended up losing everything and left single? Screen writer literally made him suffer infinitely.
I thought atleast she will get married to ml and be happy or would meet sml in modern world but what she returned to her place with her master? Many unsolved mysteries like xuan yi and zhao ge return, how her master is not dead after transforming his spiritual energy to ml, where is our cutie phoenix bird. Where did she return with her master..... Still the whole show was another level so we want season 2 atleast special episode to complete this master piece!

This is the most beautiful series I have ever seen. I think it would be great if more than 30 episodes were made. The actors of this series are excellent and they play their roles in the series very well. I see this series as one of the best Chinese series and I am waiting for its second season to be released
The serial environment is also excellent. Also, this series has a very beautiful story and makes one think about the series
It is a great series in general, and if I were you, I would have thought of making a second season, because it can be said that it has a lot of fans, and its genre is also excellent.

HUH?
I love Xu Kai Cheng in his roles They are strong and he makes a great ML. I cried a few times so I did appreciate it over half the Eps. Jinna Lu is ever the bad girl. She plays this role well. The FL, Yang Chao Yue, is a natural beauty and normally her acting is pretty good. But she was so morose most of the time. She didn't even look as tho she enjoyed anything, including the love of her life. Overall, it was entertaining. But the ending sucked and I was left empty and angry.BTW I blame the Director for the bad in this drama.

Please watch this drama...because you might like it.
Like I watched only 12 episodes and I already can feel that it’s going to have a really awesome ending or maybe not... who knows, the ending is unpredictable. But like all the characters are so good-looking and charming. And the Wuxia in this Chinese historical drama is too good. I’m a very overweight person and it feels better to see people Like me in dramas. Like it’s not easy to stay fit and fine. It’s nice to see new and people different. Like, overweight actors and actresses are not in much Asian dramas, no ones perfect. Was this review helpful to you?
Very interesting, love through time and space
^_^This drama is a love drama in ancient costume. in which Xu Kaipin will play a cool and handsome actor Jun Linyuan. Currently, the official has released publicity photos of people. Xu Kaipin in the photo is dressed in a clean white coat, personable and immortal. This is one of the few costume dramas that Xu Kai has starred in since his debut, and the looks in the drama are still very satisfying.
Xun and Xu Kai hired to play the heroine in this play, and it was the younger generation Yang Xiaochao. This drama is a lead actress, mainly about a modern girl Meng Yuan who studies medicine. She passed through an immortal world because of an accident. In this world, her name is Feng Wu, and she has an inextricable bond with the actor Jun Linyuan. With the thinking that modern talents would have, she had a sweet and beautiful love with the actor.

Parabéns a quem escreveu~

Was this review helpful to you?
