Li Jia is bound and thrown in the haunted garage below high street. Cha Cha and Shi Cheng find him after receiving texts from his phone. Li Jia realizes that something must have happened at 5A as he had not been the one to send the text. He finds the floor being burnt by Xue Li, his supervisor, who locks himself and Zhang Xiaolang in the building, committing suicide. Li Jia returns to his building to retrieve his burnt up belongings and he notices the green ball once again. A flashback of the boy with cerebral palsy chasing the ball, calling it apple. Cha Cha helps him with the remaining documents and as they leave the building, an eaten green apple is shown lying on the side of the room. Li Jia narrates that he began falling for Cha Cha atound this time. He meets Prof. Chan and tells him about how high street reminded him of his own childhood, voicing his opinions and doubts about environmental effects on schizophrenia. Professor Chan advices him to not come to conclusions. Jia starts to finally settle down in Hong Kong. Shi Cheng calls him urgently as something weird had cropped up in the anatomy lab.
