Good story, stupid decisions of characters
There're those series where a story itself is great, characters have a lot of potential but their extremely stupid, unrealistic decisions make it a strange mixture in the end. I always have a feeling that the series is both good and bad. I love it and I want to drop it at the same time getting so frustrated with the stupid, stupid, stupid behavior of characters. Here they break up a couple of times in extremely unrealistic and idiotic way. Characters do not behave like they should because they believe in shit that it would be "selfish" etc. Typical melodrama rubbish. So the story is great - yes - but it's full of Korean stupid age respect and hierarchy (a psychiatrist son should basically punch his father in the face a couple of times and respond to him that he's the one who doesn't have any right to speak and that he should stop being such a trash) but also - just stupid, stupid, stupid, passive behaviors instead of kicking through the door when the situation basically screams for it. The ML should stop the FL when she always tries breaking up with him - it's so obvious she does it for some stupid, bullshit reason she doesn't want herself but only plays strong. There were thousands of things, which could be solved by simple conversation - even responding in a normal, realistic way instead of standing like a mute tree or saying some bullshit that no one should ever say in such a situation!

Everyone is a stalker!
First of all, I agree with everyone who rated this show a 6.0 or less. I agree with their observations, so I won't rehash what they have said.As mentioned in my headline, this show depicts almost everyone as a stalker. It starts with the ex-boyfriend stalking the Male Lead's first girlfriend, then killing her. Years later, the Female Lead meets the ML at his work and begins obsessing, stalking and harassing him. Meanwhile, the FL's film director is obsessed with FL and stalks and kidnaps her. When ML discovers that he finally likes FL, but she has regained her memory and avoids him, ML begins stalking her. Lastly, the ex-boyfriend killer escapes from prison and stalks both ML and FL with plans to kill him. This movie should have been named "Obsession".
Some reviewers mentioned the age gap between the ML and FL. As a news anchor, I believe the ML is around late 30's at the earliest. The FL is a young diva actress who seems to be around mid-20's and very immature. Their relationship due to the huge difference in age and emotional intelligence are unrealistic, in my opinion.
The FL is played by Moon Ga-young, who was excellent in True Beauty. However, this show did nothing to exhibit her acting skills. Also, I feel that Moon Ga-young has cornered the market on crying female lead roles.
I would not re-watch this show and would not recommend it to my friends.

So far, one of the best dramas in 2020!
There are 2 aspects I adore the most from Find Me In Your Memory: the charisma of the main leads and the OST.Like seriously, Kim Dong Wook as Lee Jung Hoon doesn't need to be handsome to be that charismatic. I'm in awe on how him being a news anchor can be that captivating. His image is like a mature man who speaks little but acts much. My first thumb up goes to Kim Dong Wook. Moon Ga Young with her beauty is also no joke. I salute the fashion team on this drama for dressing her that pretty. She's an actress who can wear anything and still look amazing.
The OST is superb. From the first hear, I'm in love with Suran's version of Two People. Even until today, that song is still on repeat.
What's more beautiful is the main idea of this drama which is love between two people: the man is someone who can remember everything and the woman is someone who's very easy to forget. Two conditions that 180 degrees different right? But it's so true that who's best for us to love is not someone who's hundred percent similar, but the one who's in a total opposite with us.

I started watching it only because of him, but the drama really surprised me (very positively). Main couple has a big age gap, but honestly I like them and I think they're a great match.
I didn't expect to get so emotionally attached to this drama. Acting is great, crime parts are really intense, romance is cute but serious... It's everything I want in a drama.
But let's get back to Lee Jin Hyuk and Kim Seul Gi. Are they the sweetest side couple I've ever seen in Korean drama? Very possible. They are cute, crazy, they act like Tom & Jerry and I want them to have their own drama. I really want to see Jin Hyuk in more dramas. He's a great actor, not only the rapper and the dancer.

One of the Best Makjang's I've watched
The overall energy, aura, and vibe of this drama, along with the OST really moved me a lot, even to the end. This is MAKJANG genre, so I think it's best to watch this drama and mind that fact. I rated this accordingly.Let me say that this one of the most calming, sane, makjang dramas I have watched, despite all the nonsense, thrills, and suspense.
Contrary to a LOT of comments, the OTP's situations weren't really dragged out. There wasn't just one way this couple was "attacked" or "struggled" over their relationship. And each "attack" was addressed, handled, and taken care of in a matter of a few episodes, and then the next "event" would happen. That's not dragging it out...for a makjang to handle its OTP this way was actually delightful because it meant that the pacing and story moved along at a good speed.
Even better is that this OTP never hated each other, blamed each other, fought with each other. There were no TRUE triangles or parent, friends, family interference. They weren't overly obsessed with each other. They respected each other's space and choices, yet, remained true to themselves, and their lives. They were independent, yet shared each other's life. They made choices they felt was for the best for everyone, but not rash or without thought and meaning. They never fell out of love either.
For a makjang, this OTP was extraordinarily loving and compassionate to each other. Jeong Hoon is an extraordinary character. It's hard to find such a balanced and caring ML like him, who has issues and flaws. Ha Na was just pure joy, cheer, and happiness walking in an innocent suit of armor. No, she wasn't childish. She was dealing with immense pain in the best way she knew how, and that she did it with a smile made me love her too. That these two always brought out the best in each other AND those around them made me just love this OTP from start to finish. Their situation wasn't easy, and they worked through it in such beautiful ways. And it's because of all this that I willingly set aside the Jumping the Shark moments of this MAKJANG because it's one of the best MELOdramas I've ever watched, in that it made me forget, most of the time, this was what I was watching... seriously....
If you've never looked up the definition of MAKJANG let me give it to you now:
~per DramaBeans website definition posted circa 2010:
"makjang :: a sylistic, tonal, or narrative element in dramas that chooses to play up outrageous storylines to keep viewers hooked despite how ridiculous the stories become (adultery, revenge, rape, birth secrets, fatal illnesses, and flirting with incest possibilities are some makjang favorites). Shows can be part of a makjang class of dramas (Wife’s Temptation is a makjang series), or they can have makjang tendencies (Mary Stayed Out All Night went makjang toward the end)."

A little too focused on the main couple but that's okay still loved
This drama never really got my attention, to be honest, I kept seeing the trailers but it was just boring for me. But oh god that changed, manly because currently I'm watching ga young's true beauty and wanted to watch another one with her and chose this one. Some things I would like to point out: how the male lead learned to deal with his memories and the cute secondary couple (altought they could've explored them a little more). If you like suffering leads then you're in the right place because wow. (Spoiler alert) - man I don't wish the male lead life even for my worst enemy. First he lost his girlfriend to a psychopath, than her bff fell in love with him and another stalker apeared, then when he finally started to move on and fell for the bff she remenbers everything and doesn't want to be with him anymore like??? man go to a church u have too many bad energies. -
But overall the events were well distributed throughout the drama and nothing seemed rushed.

It's a semi slow-paced drama that slowly builds up throughout the story. There's nothing special in the story; it's a common story in a way, but I really don't mind watching drama with the same themes or similar stories as long as it holds my interest. There's something the main leads both struggle with and they both end up having a connection with each other. I thought the drama was predictable with some parts with all the flashbacks they were revealing in the start, but they did throw me off and I turned out to be wrong so at least that part was not boring. They did a good job of resolving the main leads conflicts and tying up the story together without leaving any major mysteries behind. A part of this drama seems to also lowkey shed light onto the lives of Korean celebrities in a way and how the media goes crazy regarding them and their personal lives. The romance between the main leads was very sweet and not cringe surprisingly. I found them very adorable in their scenes together. The slow pace didn't seem to bother me till the very end where most things were wrapping up and I wished they would tie things in together quickly. Music- There were two OST's that stood out to me and I liked. It was Jooyoung's "Here We Are" & Yangpa's "A Memory in My Heart".
Rewatch&Overall Rating- I wouldn't rewatch this since I personally don't find it enjoyable to watch again since I already know what happens throughout the drama and the suspense wouldn't be there anymore. That's one of the reasons I gave it a 8.5/10 . Another reason was I was tired of seeing the same flashbacks over again. I realize that they want to show that the guy has hyperthymesia and he's recalling a memory from the past, but it was getting a bit on my nerves to have to see the same flashback more than three times.
This drama is nice to watch with a nice ending but I wasn't really attached to this drama or its character enough to be able to rewatch this.

Straight out the gate it has to be highlighted that the best thing about this show was the chemistry between the cast Kim Dong Wook and Moon Ga Young. They were phenomenal and made me want to believe that they were a real couple. They are definitely in my top 5 chemistry couples. So here we are again with another memory trope scenario so yes the storyline was unoriginal. But it was executed well enough. The male lead had hyper (whatever) and whilst the doctor and everyone was always warning him, there was never any real portrayal of how his condition was problematic to his life. They just inferred and glossed over that condition a lot that I often forgot that he was supposed to be suffering or struggling or something. For the majority of the show the character Lee Jung Hoon seemed like a normal guy.
This show is all about couple chemistry so don't go looking for any real depth. But unfortunately you have there was the unnecessary break up and separation which dragged the show down towards the end. I personally prefer to see couples fight the world than each other in romance melodramas but for whatever reason in kdramas fights must end in a superficial break up.
Overall I enjoyed the show because despite the flaws I was enthralled with the couple's romance.

Oh wow, where to begin? I have been postponing this drama for a while now. I actually began to gain interest when I saw a clip on twitter,an ARMY had posted it after hearing 00:00. It reminds me of “A piece of your mind” in a way,if you’ve also watched this drama you’ll see the similarities,I don’t wanna spoil it.Okay so onto the review. This drama literally tugged at my heart,it was so amazing,it wasn’t that much different from any of the dramas I’ve watched(and trust me I’ve watched a lot). I’ve lost count of how many times they broke up,I liked their little love story,I didn’t want it to end. I felt sad for Anchor Lee,imagine living your life like that not being able to forget anything? I would have tapped out long time ago,the fact that I sometimes remember my embarrassing moments and I just want the ground to swallow me up is proof enough. I’m glad that 2 years later(towards the end of episode 15) Anchor Lee has something going for him, even though he’s not an anchor. Before I touch base on the ending can we talk about this drama’s OST? The music is so good. Before I get to the good parts(jk every part in this drama is the good part), I wanted to just give my unsolicited opinion on the fact that we as a society are too hard on public figures,we throw stones at them and bring them down for things we also do in our daily lives, the fact that they had to break up and start anew because of the public made it so heavy for me to understand, why do we do this? Why are we making people’s lives hard, because they are celebrities? That’s not an excuse, everyone deserves to be happy and everyone wants love. We’ve seen so many Kdramas or Hollywood movies that depict this,it’s not just in Korea,I wish people would be so understanding. Now the moment you’ve been waiting for,the ending, I kind of sort of predicted this too. I knew she would come back(like every drama). I like how he saw her in that red car and he was happy,I wish she had turned just for a moment and see him,I wanted that for him,his smile is so beautiful. Spoiler alert:(this is redundant because if you’ve made it so far then you’ve read many spoilers) He got his job as an Anchor back!!! Kinda felt cliche didn’t it? Remember that episode where he said the drama Ha Jin was starring in was a cliche because the characters kept missing each other by hairs? Now he was in the same position, seeing her in her car but she didn’t see him,at the bookstore..and finally they meet. The look on their faces gave me goosebumps. I hated how this played out afterwards, how he didn’t see which way she went, and when she went back in to look for him. Devastating. And they meet again. In the most unexpected situation just like the drama Ha Jin was supposed to star in. The clues of the ending was sort of there. That’s their destiny. Beautiful isn’t it? “They’re destined to meet each other and fall in love”. This man is so selfless. The time she met his dad made me so sad thinking about his mom,I liked her character, wish they didn’t kill her so soon. The first time she slept over was so special, the little cute camping “trip”. So glad he finally found out how to channel his memories. They both deserved to be happy. I’m happy with the way it ended. It had a lot of pain but also happy moments. Loved it!!!I wanted to take time to talk about the supporting actors but I have went over,I think they complimented the drama very well.
I honestly love their relationship,I have nothing to say about this drama but good things. I watched it when I was going through a hard time and it gave me strength,I think I’ll latch onto it forever,it left a very good impression on me. I hope if you decide to watch it,you’ll love it,but I really don’t know why you’re reading reviews when you could be watching and enjoying it then summing up your own opinion. If you have watched it,I hope you loved it as much as I did.

10/10 production and concept 4/10 love and chemistry
I used Chatgpt to get my recommendations for drama that match my expectations and my currentood and it usually never fails me. it kept pestering me about watching this, it was always in my top 5 recommended dramas to watch next and I have to say I'm sooo disappointed.I came here for the deep love, the healing and of course the fashion and suspense. aside from the fashion and OST all of it fell short.
The love just felt so forced that I started skipping them towards the end just to finish the drama because I genuinely didn't care anymore and I'm someone who watches SOLELY for the love story.
LIKES:
-they slowly revealed the story to us and the things that happen to make them the way they are
-i loved her character as a whole until ep 26. I liked Her sweet kind and forgiving personality. just made her so likable to me. I love my FL with a bit of naivety
-i like how hard it was to know who the real culprit was
-no distracting subplots. all the subplots were supporting the main story which is always a plus.
DISLIKES:
-bumd breakup and hiatus that could have been fixed with a press conference.
-started to get bored around ep 16 because their romance was close to nothing. Not even enough to call it a some. It was at first and then since episode 7 or 8 they just never got closer to falling for each other. It was just moments of admiration really.
- he was just stuck in the friendzone or slowly falling for way too many episodes. For the pace of the suspense and the things that accured the romance should have been way faster or included more swoony scenes -it just felt completely flat the love was not there I was literally way more excited to look at the fashion, the cars, and production over them being together towards the end. It fell flat. It felt like there was a wall between them and it felt like she was not genuine in her love for him. Her character alsokept failing him and did not keep any of her promises.
- for all the hyping of that villain in all those episodes when it came to showing how scary the villain was, that also fell flat. the resolution was too quick and I wasn't scared of him and I didn't hate him either.
-The ending was too abrupt. What question was he going to ask? Was he going to ask her to marry him? Was he going to ask her about her work? like I'm just so confused as to why they ended it like that.
At the end this came from a potential 9 or 10 to a 4 or 5. It was so highly anticipated, it was supposed to match everything I was looking for in terms of ride or die love from either character, longing for each other, swoony scenes and awesome suspense that made you quake and heart wrenching story of their love. I wanted all that. just to get a regular rom com dressed as that. so disappointed. it's not a bad lot story but their love is more fit for a light fluffy drama than this heavy setting where we expect sparks to be flying out of the screen between the characters.
