I Don't Know What I Was Expecting ... But ...
I honestly don't know what I was expecting in this second season. I didn't like the first one and the only reason why I got through this one is because I was in the middle of crocheting and didn't want to get up to rummage through my "Plan to Watch" list. What is the story? I understand the title, but I don't understand the story. I was really hoping for more development and some closure leading into this second season and I still got absolutely nothing. The characters are dull, boring, and completely unrelatable. There is so much nothing, I wasn't at all surprised, let down, or even baffled by the end. It was just ... oh, ok? ... that's it ...
The acting was exactly the same as Season 1? Did they continuously film this or was there an actual gap? The acting is dry and forced. It's almost like they didn't even enjoy the character they are portraying.
The music is lackluster. Nothing memorable that makes me want to hesitate skipping to the next episode because I want to continue singing the theme.
There is no rewatch value ... literally none ...
Overall, I do still want to check out the webtoon to find out if there is some semblance of a plot. The drama does nothing in any way shape or form. I think this was the first drama that I was not cheering for a single character. I sighed a breath of pained relief when the final credits rolled.

It all went downhill
just couldn't understand the fact that jojo has to throw sun-oh out the window after all of that, it's not because of the ending. Not even in season 1 that they made jojo and hye-hyeong build a good connection, but no, there's no spark at all, not even that uplifting feeling. But still, i would've accepted that Sun-Oh isn't the guy who's gonna end up with jojo in the end if Sun-Oh was actually the one who did wrong, if he cheated or even hurt jojo. BUT NO, he dearly loved jojo, but she left him hanging with no proper answers. Sun-Oh keeps knocking on her everytime. He keeps tearing because of the pain in return. and that pain for almost FIVE YEARS. Now i can channel the anger sun-oh felt when said "Do you know what she did to me?" that is such a valid reaction. Jojo was such a coward even as an adult.

Wasted many hours of my time!
I was enjoying the first season but the second season doesn't make sense. **Spoiler Alert** It doesn't make sense for a young lady to end a relationship so suddenly with someone who she was in love with. Jo Jo and Sun-Ho clearly loved each other. Jo Jo ended the relationship to prevent Sun-Ho and herself from being hurt.JoJo said she didn't want to have a relationship ever again with anyone . If she changed her mind surely she would try again with the person who she deeply loved and not try to force herself to love someone else. This has really made me feel low. I love a good romance story but not one which splits up the loving couple who were clearly meant for each other

IN LOVE WITH BOTH MALE LEADS
So after season 1 I didnt know what I should expect, but i was for sure waiting for season 2. I still dont know who is the second lead in this story, but I think for once in Kdramas we dont have the same kind of love triangle, because i was never sure who she will end up with. I would be happy no matter who she had chose because i think both of them were great characters after all. All the main character annoyed me at times but i think all of them were written like that so we could watch them develop themselves as the show was going.I did get kinda bored after 6 episodes but no so bored that i wouldnt finish it. I think i was more sad that i would have to say goodbye because Love Alarm was the first Kdrama i ever watched.
It is an okay Kdrama and quite different from the other of its kind.

Worst K-drama season 2 ever!!!
This is the worst K-drama season 2 that I have ever seen. They should have just stopped at season 1. How did they even shoot this stupidity? God, kill them, please—, especially the director. Somehow I think he was able to write a real-life kind story, which seriously pisses off anyone who expects a typical kind of k-drama. I still can't digest the ending. I can't even forgive the plotholes put in place to make sure we understand how a real woman is. This k-drama ensures people understand how dumb real-world women are. They are only attracted to what is before them, making them comfortable. I may have been scarred for life and may not get into relationships anymore. RIP me!!!Was this review helpful to you?

A very good drama
Love Alarm in general is very original and a great story. The actors do a wonderful job, and the writing is very well done. There are twists and turns and nothing is too obvious.Love Alarm Season 2 is not a stand-alone drama. You must have season one fresh in your memory for it to make any sense. You need to remember the little things. I see it as the rest of season one, not a 2nd season.
I believe the low ratings are due to people not knowing or clearly remembering the story. I watched the first season one and a half years ago. I just watched Season 2 Ep 1 and was so lost. After rewatching all eight episodes of season one, it changed everything! Season 2 Ep. 1 seemed like I hadn't watched that episode yet - it made complete sense. The repeat viewing was worth the time.
Another possible reason for low ratings is that the two male leads were competing for the female lead until the very end. 50% of viewers were probably soooo upset that their favorite man didn't win, that they weren't able to forgive the writers. They soothed their wounded hearts by giving low ratings.

...Where should I begin? Well this season was a mess not only this season but also the first one. To many questions weren’t answered in season two e.g why Jojo left Sun Oh?
I think the bad thing about this drama isn’t that she ended up with Hye Young but the way she ended up with him. It just doesn’t make really sense. Yook Jo was such a good girlfriend even though the ending seemed kinda forced. Overall the episodes were a little bit boring and the crime scenes could have made so much sense but they just put it in and then forget about them and made a creepy stalker like ?!? I really liked the color scheme of the drama.
But can we talk about Brian Cheon aka Ki Do Hoon he is soo handsome 🤭
OST were okay nothing special
I really liked the CGI it was really good
Actingwise it was really good but unfortunately not the story
Was it worth to wait 1.5 years for the 2nd season? No. Would I rewatch it probably not.
Sorry for mistakes^^

I really had my hopes high for this one...
Love Alarm season really got me hyped up and after waiting for almost 2 years I really was expecting a bit more... I'm not sure if it was because I have set my expectations too high or what but I expected a bit more.First thing first, at the end of S1 we saw the FL running towards the SH and the HK saw them then it ended at that. We didn't even know what happened next? Like hello writers, if you left us with a cliff hanger like that for 2 years I think we do deserve a some kind of closure???
Also, I never really understood why the FL had this urge to always lie. I know she was traumatized by her experience before but it really wasn't explained well why she thinks that people around her would always suffer? From what I saw, she was really being selfish. Her actions towards both the ML and SML were not really justified even at the end. It was really messy.
LASTLY HOW THE HELL DID CDG SURVIVE THAT FREAKING FALL??????? IF YOU LOOK BACK DURING S1, IT LOOKED LIKE HE FELL FROM THE 20TH-30TH FLOOR OF A BUILDING???? HOW THE HECK ARE YOU STILL ALIVE???? AND WHY DID HIS BROTHER ACT LIKE THAT???? I mean I know they had different views on things but was that really that important that you had to turn your back from your brother????
I wish the characters had more depth in them. There were only 3 characters overall whom I saw grew and developed over the epsidoes. Suho, Gul Mi's mom, and Suho's mom. Aside from that, after you know years they all pretty much stayed the same way they did during their highschool years.
Oh well... I guess time to move on to a different drama.

Reality
I loved it as i thought it was fair enough in the first season they gave time for jojo and sun oh and in the second they gave time to hyehyeon and jojo it is pretty fair and really liked it also many always wish in love triangles the second lead wins the girl and now the second lead got the girls people are sulking i think it was wonderful many those are song kang are disapointed but if we take a step in reality we all believe it was fair enough and i probably think if i was in her shoes i would choose hye yeong as sun oh would remain in her memories as her first love but from starting to the end hye yeong was their for her when she liked sun oh when she broke up with sun oh and whatever it was so i would probable get over my first love and move on and if sun oh was that sad why did he get a new gf he should have done something like hye yeong did so i think it was relatable after it was a drama and the drama is oc=ver so nothing much will pretty happen from sulking. Also one moral from the story I goy was dont believe in machines but believe your own feelings
Its just my own opinion

Please don’t make this a ship war.
I haven’t written a review in ages but I could not, in good conscience, leave this page without doing so. Not when I feel the score is not reflective of the actual drama’s quality. Instead, it’s been reduced to a ship war which isn’t fair.STORY - The story of the Love Alarm world is innovative and new. We have a world where people don’t use words as a love language; instead they rely on their alarm ringing to convey their feelings. A disastrous idea in my opinion but one that takes off in their world and quickly becomes the norm.
We follow our three main characters - Jo Jo, Sun Oh and Hye Yeong. Each have their own unique backgrounds but in this season, we see Hye Yeong’s dark secret and how he comes to terms with it. We also revisit Jo Jo’s past and see how she makes her peace.
The story of this season relies heavily on the love triangle - following Jo Jo as she tries to get the shield removed so she can show her true feelings (even if she herself doesn’t really know them). We see how that quest wrecks her and her silence impacts the other two.
I genuinely think that this season is on par with the previous season - we continue to explore this world and see the conflicts resolve in a satisfying (maybe not ship wise for some) conclusion.
ACTING - I think all the actors do an excellent job here. Our three leads excel and really make you take their sides (aforementioned ship wars not excluded). I would like to shout out the actress who plays Yuk Jo for how she plays her character. It’s one that can come across as desperate but she handles it with such poise and charisma that she has me rooting for her until the very end.
MUSIC - I loved the music in season one and here it is again and still just as heart wrenching and haunting.
REWATCH VALUE - I think this is a very personal rating and for me, it’s high. I’ve already watched season one four times and I have this season already saved for another rewatch in future. Especially now that I know that my heartache pays off in the end!
OVERALL - Ships aside, I think this is an excellent conclusion to the story. Many will (and have and will continue to) disagree but for me, this is a 9/10.

A wonderful drama with wonderful actors and a wonderful end.
Okay, so let me start by saying that I'm extremely happy with the ending. Not because I preferred HH but because everyone in the drama got the ending they deserved. Everyone ended their story in this drama in a peaceful way.And now let's talk about HH and Sun-oh. Let me start with clearing that I am on HH side but absolutely not against sun-oh. As we all know HH had a crush on JoJo first and sun-oh knew about it, even tho HH declined it, sun-oh knew that HH was lying. And as we all saw in the first season HH really liked Kim JoJo but had to see his best friend with her every single day without saying anything about it. This literally broke my heart because he is such a calm and nice guy. Now don't get me wrong, I was happy for sun-oh too since he and Jojo seemed happy together.
Now this season started with JoJo and HH being a couple even though she couldn't ring his love alarm when he did. And he never said anything about it since he loved her so much and didn't want to make her uncomfortable. And I could see that she was happy with him and that their relationship was healthy and peaceful.
What made me not feel bad about sun-oh when Jojo "broke-up" with him or kind of cleared up things for him, is that he got mad about the fact that JoJo didn't ring his love alarm and that she wasn't being "honest". And what made me mad about this is that he couldn't accept that she didn't like him and kept yelling at her and saying "you like me!". Yes, I understand that he was confused about the whole story with the shield but still, that was quite weird to me.
To be honest, in the beginning, I thought that the best ending would be if they all split and lived their own lives without each other. But when I started watching this season I could see how lonely and sad HH was, but how happy he was with Jojo and how hard he tried to not ruin their relationship. (Gurl I was CRYING rivers when he went out of prison and Jojo went to hug him and he started crying TT TT )
This review is quite messy, sorry TT. But to kind of summon all this review, I loved this season. I cried, laughed, and got mad while watching these wonderful 6 episodes. And to be honest I will probably end up rewatching this drama like 10 times. ^^

Everybody loves Sunoh...
... I can tell and I guess the ratings will be lower because of the ending.I trully like Song Kang, who started at the drama "The liar ans his lover" and his acting was already relevant.
I guess people will be frustrated to see how Jojo runs towards HY everytime but let's be fair, the ending was really fine:
- Love is not just a simple feeling or crush, you have to act and choose, that's what Jojo did.
- Everyone grows: JJ by being honest, HY by being more determinate, SN by being more caring, JJ's cousin by being more serious.
- But they can not change that far.... JJ's cousin is still superficial, SN's mother though more caring, stays distant. There is not a great happy ending with reconciliation and hugs, it's more realistic and I like it that way.
- I like the fact that she returns to Jeju island ALONE to overcome her past. She has to accept herself above all. She is the most hurt in this story.
The three lead actors are great, but Song Kang I think, it's the most striking one. I can understand people's frustrations but really, season 2 is nice final.
The flaws in this show:
- Visual effects not really convincing comparing to season 1
- Lacks of explanations, for example, in the webtoon, JJ wrote a letter to HY and explains why she chooses him ( a very beautiful and romantic message), this element is lacking.
- Too much crying and whispers... gosh, all the casting were great, you can give more light moments, they are young!
But really, the whole drama is beautiful so don't be to harsh because you prefers Song Kang.
