Most Perfect Actor for Zhang Qiling x Wu Xie!!!
I need season 2 for this Ultimate Note. Chemistry between Zhang Qiling x Wu Xie really so great than other version. Hei Xiazi x Xie Yuchen role played by great actors too. Every episodes very worth to rewatch!!! Song "Because of you" sung by Joseph Zeng a.k.a Wu Xie describe his feeling toward Zhang Qiling. Was this review helpful to you?

Watch it - for the bromance if not anything else
This is my favourite Lost Tomb series - the reason is simple - we have 2 equally attractive bromance cpls here and I'M ALL HERE FOR IT. PingXie already takes a chunk of my heart, not HeiHua comes along?? Gosh I'm gonna faint for sweetness overload. The plot of the series itself is quite interesting, just the right amount of mystery, comedy, emotions, relationships, and of course 'robbing graves'. I love a good action series, and this is one of them, sprinkled with extra sweetness on top too.
If you're interested, you can check out the other series in the Lost Tomb, but honestly I'm personally still confused as to the chronology of the series. Nevertheless I still watched it for PingXie, and they never fail to shine, especially the relationship between the Iron Triangle.

The best lost tomb series-Xiao Ge appearance most of the time
Ultimate Note – The Best in the Lost Tomb Series (Highly Recommended!)I found Ultimate Note through a recommendation—and wow, it did not disappoint! Among all the Lost Tomb series, I personally think Ultimate Note is the best.
Why I love it:
Xiao Ge appears more often in this version, and that alone makes a big difference compared to the other series.
The bromance/brotherhood between Wu Xie, Xiao Ge, and Pang Zi is truly heartwarming. I love seeing this trio together—their bond is everything!
another one of my favourite character is Hei Yan Jing (Black). He’s so hilarious and his acting is on point. He brings the perfect touch of humor to balance the intense storyline.
The sci-fi fantasy vibe of the story just makes it more exciting. It’s mysterious, emotional, and imaginative all in one.
What I didn’t like:
The last episode... it left us with a hanging story. It felt incomplete, and I was craving for more.
Because of that, I can’t give it a perfect score—but still, I’d rate it 9.5/10.
Final thoughts:
I’m really hoping for a Season 2 because Ultimate Note is too good to end like that. It deserves a proper continuation!
Highly recommended for fans of action, mystery, and strong character bonds!

Please answer my question ?
I know I'm supposed to write a review but I have a question about Zhang Keling please answer1). How does Zhang Qiling manage to recover his memory?
2). Zhang Keling lost his memory in the ultimate note series and there was nothing explicitly saying that he recovered his memory, so did he recover his memory?

Adventure is in the air
I finished watching Ultimate Note this year in February and it still leaves a lasting impression and brainrot to this day. It's the first series I've seen from the Daomu Biji universe - also called The Lost Tomb. Ultimate Note is an adventure series. It focuses on the three men Wu Xie, Xiao Ge and Wang Pangzi. Together they roam through forests, deserts, caves and many other beautiful but dangerous landscapes. They are always looking for graves, treasures and secrets.Chronologically speaking you should actually start with a different series. But it worked for me to start with Ultimate Note. You have to be prepared to be thrown into the story without being introduced to the characters and their backgrounds. You only get a quick recap. After a few episodes, it helped me to read some guides with general information about the Daomu Biji characters. It may contain a bit of spoilers, but it's good if you want to understand more without watching the previous series or reading the books first.
The highlights of Ultimate Note are without a doubt the exciting adventures amidst breathtaking landscapes, the heartwarming bromance and the great teamwork. I was rooting for the characters and really felt the thrilling sense of grave robbing.
The bond between Wu Xie and Xiao Ge is strong and emotional - #PingXie. Even though Xiao Ge is not a man of many words, his eyes are showing all the important feelings. Both deeply care for each other. It really touches my heart.
The friendship between Wu Xie, Xiao Ge and Wang Pangzi was also beautiful. Together they are known as the Iron Triangle. Their team spirit is impressive and very wholesome.
But despite loving the Iron Triangle, my favorite characters are Xiao Hua and Hei Xiazi - #HeiHua. They stole my heart! Their dynamic is funny, crazy, warm and always puts a smile on my face. This constantly bickering couple is now among my top 3 bromances of all time.
[finished watching on 6 February 2024]

Alright, let’s delve deeper into what has become an incredibly intricate and compelling saga. The narrative kicks off with Wu Xie and Wang Pan Zi, who are not just your average adventurers; they are deeply entrenched in a web of mysteries that stretches far beyond casual exploration. Their investigation centers on a trip made by The Mystic Nine to Parcel Island, a journey shrouded in mystery, as well as the elusive past associated with Wu Xie’s uncle. As fans of the series, we can’t help but feel a connection to Wu Xie, especially as he grapples with the painful disappearance of his close friend, Zhang Qi Ling, affectionately known as "Xiao Ge." This emotional weight amplifies the stakes as they dive deeper into an unfolding conspiracy that threatens everything they know. The tension escalates dramatically when Wu Xie finally reunites with Xiao Ge, an event that should be a joyous occasion but instead leads to a new set of complications. Joining forces with a new cohort of explorers, they embark on perilous adventures that challenge their wits and resolve. However, fate deals a cruel hand when Wu Xie suffers a devastating blow – a heartbreak that resonates deeply with fans who have grown to care about these characters over the course of the series. To make matters worse, Xiao Ge finds himself in the precarious position of losing his memory yet again, introducing a layer of uncertainty and drama that leaves audiences on the edge of their seats, anxiously wondering if he will ever regain his memories and the bond he shares with Wu Xie.
As if they are not already caught in a whirlwind of chaos, the duo decides to return home, seeking clarity and answers. Their longing for resolution propels them into yet another expedition, one that takes them back to the haunting grounds of their previous adventure. Here, the story darkens, revealing not just secrets but the intricate tapestry of deception woven throughout their journey. They cross paths with the enigmatic Madam Huo, a figure from the Jiumen Sect, whose motivations are shrouded in complexity. Her influence leads them into a tomb raid at Zhang Manor, a place steeped in rich history and unresolved tensions.
But here’s where the plot thickens and frustrations mount—the puzzle they attempt to solve goes awry. This miscalculation sends Xiao Ge and others spiraling into another realm of mystery, snatching them away and abandoning the audience and the characters alike with an unsettling sense of confusion. The writers have expertly crafted these twists, leaving us grappling with unresolved questions that linger long after the last scene fades to black. Who are the true players in this game? What is the purpose of the organization that looms in the background, constantly hinted at but never clearly defined? There’s an underlying sense of dread mixed with curiosity about the entity that remains an enigma throughout the series.
The ending feels like a classic cliffhanger, a masterstroke that leaves us clamoring for more. It makes one sit back and reflect intently on everything witnessed over the series. Did Wu Xie and his friends ever find the clarity they sought? And what really happened in that fateful asteroid? This series is a labyrinth of narrative strands that create a spectacularly immersive yet frustrating experience; the tension balanced delicately with moments of camaraderie and ancient secrets.
Enthusiasts like myself have eagerly consumed not just this series but have chased the 108+ books, including the spin-offs and side stories that attempt to fill in some of the gaps, hoping to stitch together the fragments of the larger narrative. However, despite our best efforts, there is a distinct lack of closure surrounding certain core questions, particularly about the mysterious entity. While some information points towards it being an organization or even a group with ulterior motives, there’s still a fog of uncertainty cloaking the truth. This leaves us feeling like we’re on the brink of discovery yet persistently thwarted.
To our dismay, it seems we are faced with an especially cruel twist of fate—despite being so invested, the writer has seemingly reached an impasse. Rumors swirl that something, somewhere along the line, has soured their relationship with the narrative, resulting in an agonizing decision to halt the continuation of this passionate journey. The thought alone is enough to drive devoted fans (myself included) to the brink of despair. How can there be no resolution to these lingering mysteries that have captivated so many?
I’ve scoured multiple sources, hoping to find answers or tidbits of what might come next, but many of the leads trace back to Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) or Weibo, platforms where whispers of speculation abound but provide little in the way of satisfying confirmation. It feels like a treasure hunt that leads nowhere, leaving us with raw enthusiasm at the prospect of potential insights against a backdrop of frustrating ambiguity.
So, I reach out to you all—if anyone out there has knowledge, tidbits, or clues about what is (or might be) to come, please chime in and share! The desire to uncover the answers, to learn the fate of Wu Xie, Xiao Ge, and the broader enigma that surrounds them, is a longing that many of us share. Let's decipher this mystery together! (GO IRON TRIANGLE!!!)

Another disappointing DMBJ series
SO disappointed in this one. It joins Sand Seas as one of the worst DMBJ adaptations out there, and like that one it’s entirely due to terrible miscasting and equally terrible characterization. Wu Xie is by far the worst—I love that actor, but he is a terrible fit for this role and the writing of the character is embarrassingly bad. Pangzi is also badly cast (and again, nothing against the actor). It was impossible to even get through the first episode because a bad story can improve, but bad casting and characterization is irredeemable. I genuinely can’t imagine why any DMBJ fans like it other than the painfully excessive and obvious Pingxie and Heihua pandering. Was this review helpful to you?

Paling suka waktu scene Wu Xie kena racun jamur, disitu ekspresi Xiao Ge waktu ngekhawatirin Wu Xie beneran bikin baper.Season ini harusnya lanjutan dari The Lost Tomb 2: Explore with the Note.
*ending spoiler*
Endingnya agak ngeselin sih, soalnya nggantung. Gatau gimana keadaan Xiao Ge, Pang Zi, dll di Bangunan Tua Keluarga Zhang. Endingnya sejenis sih sama The Lost Tomb 2: Explore With the Note.
pokoknya ni drama bagus banget, recomended buat kalian yg suka genre mystery, adventure, friendship.

Singkat kata amat sangat bagus !
Cerita bagus , pemain bagus , OST juga bagus !
Utk visual efek harap maklum kalo gag super sempurna mengingat ini bukan big budget series !!!
Tapi sangat memuaskan !
Joseph Ceng sbg Wu Xie sangat cocok !
Xiao Yu Liang sbg Zhang QiLing sangat sempurna !
(Qin Hao termasuk versi 30+ ) 🤣
Intinya super amat sangat luar biasa rekomen !
