A River Runs through It Episode 8

The gang go roaming about the beach and Shiyi teases Xiaoju when she tries on a hairclip. She doesn't buy it as it was expensive, but he secretly gets it for her. Tao Tao tries to get Xiaoju to admit her feelings for Cheng Lang through a game of truth or dare, but she dodges her questions. Bao Bao passionately sings a song and admits that they would forever be his best friends. Xiaoju has a stomach ache and Cheng Lang takes her to a clinic. While returning, he gets to see the sunrise as he wished for, but Shiyi and Tao Tao find that Bao Bao was missing. They chase the train which he had secretly boarded after reading a letter left by him in which he expresses that he is unable to bear the pain of bidding farewell to them. The gang returns back home in gloom. Cheng Lang beats Shiyi and gives Xiaoju a wind chime to thank her for arranging the trip. Shiyi is upset and doesn't give her the hairclip. The parents rush out to congratulate the kids for their university admissions. But, Shiyi's father chases him with a stick for choosing Medicine as his major without telling him. (Source: kisskh.)
