Zhan Yan and Duan Mu Cui decide that the candy seller is the culprit. Duan Mu Cui decides to pretend to be a pregnant woman and tells Zhan Yan to disguise himself as her husband. The demon envoy gets a weapon to trap Duan Mu Cui. Duan Mu Cui gives Zhan Yan her messenger butterfly. Duan Mu Cui is afraid of mosquitoes. Wengu and Hong Luan save Duan Mu Cui and Zhan Yan from the mosquito demon. Zhan Yan and Duan Mu Cui search for clues leading to the demon's lair. Duan Mu Cui is caught in the trap for immortals.
