this is really good, but have to say i am getting frustrated at the amount of new character's being introduced. we halfway through, but almost every ep we got a new addition & a new plot twist. ***********************************************************what, it wasn't enough we got Jin Cho Yeon after Jang Uk, now we adding Heo Yoon Ok?? on the other hand Mu Deok's got Seo Yul & the crown prince circling. these harm plots r tiresome IMO they also unfair, as they the ones that r left with their hearts broken.**********************************************************************************************************************************************so Mu Deok is Jin Bu Yeon & Naksu is Cho Yeong, but now that Naksu transferred her soul into Mu Deok where did her soul go to?!? cause if she died, she wouldn't have been able to save Jang Uk, when Kil Joo was trying to transfer his soul into his body. or cause she didn't have a body to enter (as Naksu died) is her soul just "hanging around" in that empty void & that is how she was able to help Jang Uk?!?*******************************************************************************************************************************************also have a bad feeling Park Jin has no plans of actually teaching Jang Uk anything to grow his power, his accepting him as a disciple is basically a way to putting a leash on him & not letting him train on his own, learn more & getting stronger. seriously don't like this dude. ironic that he is making his being despicable very clear to Kim Do Ju, just she doesn't know about his treatment of Jang Uk so she doesn't know what he really means & ow much damage he has done & want to do..sadly i worry that his stupidity will push Jang Uk into the arms of the rat & his queen.

Seoyul when will you admit that you know???I love Crown Prince, I hope he will be like that till the end, he is actually a nice and good person.So now Uk has to study really hard and fast so that he can his Naksu soon or maybe she will actually become a servent there? Who knows?I do not rememeber what happened with Mudeok soul, is it still somewhere? Maybe that's why she was able to open that gate because now I am pretty sure Mudeok is the lost daughter, so is it possible for Naksu to come back to her own body and then Mudeok will get back her own? Omg so complicated...Patiently waiting for death of Jinmu, he pisses me of so much.

Loved the episode. Love this entire drama it is so perfectly done with the right blend of so many different genres!

This episodes provides scenes that tells Mu Deok how her disciple really feel about her through the maidservant conversation. Ahhh I’m hoping that handsome young smart guy or the crown prince will have a chance at least 😂

Alchemy of Souls episode 9 was a treat that revealed so many secrets that are easy to know when you connect the right dots. This weekend is Mu-deok’s weekend, not Naksu not Jang Uk, but the blind girl whose body is taken over. If you haven’t guessed it then here it is, she must be none other than Jin Ho-kyung’s lost daughter who was so powerful that she was even able to locate the ice stone. The way she could detect energy was like no other and she was a true genius. This is why the secret door in Jinyowon opened up to her and why her soul is still alive in the alchemy of soul space.
This show is filled with immeasurable excitement and the viewers have to agree that it is one of the best ongoing shows at the moment. Another thing I loved was the irony behind the scene when the crown prince and Jang Uk toast to each other, such a beautiful situation that is definitely going to change in the near future. And when the crown prince tells Mu-deok that he’ll kill her the next time she interrupts their duel, why do I see this hinting at another important scene in the future?
Altogether, the first episode of this week is as exciting as ever, like always I am eagerly looking forward to the next episode because I know I will be getting my mind blown.

A beautiful love triangle with one that’s inseparable and the other stuck in a world of fantasy with his excrush (Naksu) ;)
Overall, a beautiful episode that took the r/s between both Yul & Mudeok and Uk&Mudeok to a whole new level!
We got to see how dependant Uk is on Mudeok, but also the way Mudeok cares for Uk’s wellbeing without her.
Moreover, love struck Yul has to make a tough decision— whether he should continue being with Mudeok, AKA Naksu now, or separate. He is physically and emotionally unable to leave her.
Living for the love triangle!

This episode was very warm and light-hearted. Almost a filler episode but it shows the complicated relationships and love triangles that are growing between our beloved characters. Comedic scenes like always were on point.
