Yoshino Michi is 32 years old. She's been married for five years, but hasn't had sex for the last two. It's not as if she doesn't get along with her husband, it's just that the sex part is lacking. It was a bit unexpected, but one night when she when drinking with her colleague, Niina Makoto, she wound up confessing that her marriage had turned sexless. And then, a shocked Niina responded "My marriage is sexless, too," and smiled with a lonely look in his eyes.

- Both drama features aspects of classical music and opera.
- Both of it is very dramatic and is over the top.
- It also showcases life’s of the wealthy as well.

In both dramas a woman died in a building. The other tenants of that building are connected to the victim. Throughout both dramas one is left wondering who is the killer and what has happened. Topics such as class-differences, unfaithfulness, lies and manipulation are in both dramas a topic.

Battle for happiness is The Penthouse, but with toddlers instead of teenagers.

A crazy makjang with extremely intense and over-the-top storyline!
-Both dramas focuses on betrayals and hidden family secrets, and also power and wealth conflicts.
-Shocking plot twists, always keeping you guessing until the end.
-Interesting characters, with great actings.

Both dramas are based on a high society, from what I noticed- Show Window: The Queen's House is less focused on academics as The Penthouse but both dramas are focused on stepping over others and cheating to become the richest and top in the society. In the Penthouse, everyone is obviously neighboring in the penthouse with people who will turn on you anytime for social gain, in the Show Window: The Queen's House- they neighbor in a "rich society only neighborhood." In both dramas, there will be a mystry murder that happens in the very end but is also the opening of the drama in the first episode as a flashback which keeps us guessing who the murdered person is and who the murderer is. In both, the wife is nice to the mistress, but that doesn't stop the mistress from being jealous anyways and doing anything to ruin the wife and steal her riches. In both, the husbands are trash and are only married to the wives to steal their riches and company. Very similar vibes. If you enjoyed The Penthouse, you'll definitely enjoy this.

While both dramas revolve around families and include mothers, fathers, and children — both also specifically zone in on the relationships between a mother and her child(ren). Every adult female character in both Penthouse and SKY Castle is either a biological mom or a stepmom (each one has stepmothers represented).

Season 1 of the Penthouse is the KOREAN PREQUEL of Penthouse: War In Life season 2...
This drama is the best melodrama ever...
Once you start to watch you can never stop watching it..
Unlike other drama it does not repeat scenes again and again..

Both series are makjangs that has elements of infidelity, betrayal and revenge. The cinematography are very good!!

- They have both classical music
- Another masterpiece and always beautiful

This one were such a brilliant classical composers of all time

- Young children from rich families
- rivalry between families
- crazy mothers
- dramatic family backstories

Beyond Evil is like a darker, calmer and more deathly manipulative version of The Penthouse: War in Life xD
