Fun, light, and filled with cute handsome boys.
Coming into this i already knew how the endings going to be. But i was expecting something else that could maybe change the story to somewhat "better". But its exactly the same as the anime, but i don't know why the anime version is more amusing to me. The FL in this live action version, kinda annoys me especially when she's too caught up in her own "world".The male characters are okay, i wish there was more time for us audience to get to know them a little bit better, because i caught my self only paying attention to one of the four ML.but visually they all looked really handsome though.
In conclusion i'd give this a 7.5.
If you're looking for something funny, and light you will like this, because regardless of a few "what the hell" moment, i still enjoy this movie.

Not Perfect, But Still Fun and Worth the Watch
As someone who has not only seen the anime, but has also read the manga, I feel safe saying that while this wasn't a perfect adaptation of it's source material (and there should definitely be a sequel to finish off the story), it's still funny, heartwarming, and has a great message about not judging someone purely because of their looks. I actually cried a bit when Kae was being fat shamed, but my sadness melted away when the boys defended her. It's rare to see something go for that message, especially in Asian dramas. This movie is definitely not for everyone (if the fujoshi elements weren't a turn off for people, the music number in the beginning will be lol), but for those few like me, I totally recommend giving this a go.Was this review helpful to you?
