She can’t update BAB on any other website because they hold the copyright of it, like yuwu and 2ha too :( They just won’t hold the copyright of any of her next works. She wrote this on the end note of Chapter 154 of BAB on JJWXC, which then got locked because of it lol but the screenshot is still on Twitter.

Aren't there laws where copyrights can be removed from a certain establishment? ! Seriously? ! If they won't let her finish Case file, automatically they shouldn't hold on to the copyrights after all, it's not their work. Anyway I don't how Chinese institutions work but here in Europe, one can't hold on copyrights. There are laws for such things. As Yuwu, it's the translators ruining things. I like meatbun's works but her novels and translations arent stable as MXTX's

It's not only case file but all meatbun's works, - 2HA and Yuwu are removed too. Fortunately I finished 2HA in 2020 and I was half way of Yuwu like chapter 128, and then it was removed. It's a hot mess. I'm reading something else, I just can't look on when there are plenty of novels out there without this headache
PS : I have checked and 2HA is still therem as for Yuwu, they locked all chapters in some folder, only previous readers have access. I have no news for case file neither did I pay for it.

You might know the storyline but not the steamy scenes of our Ranwan and the angst towards the end. You may have even missed some big shocking spoilers regarding Xue Zhengyong , Madam Wang and Moran especially. So I suggest you finish the book before they air drama. Yuwu isn't any less but if she writes case file like how Priest writes her books, people may not like it as much. Some of us read her books for the smut and angst which misses in other people's works.
I’m not sure how it works in China either but a couple of months ago the translators linked her the website and asked her if they could keep translating it and she said she can’t give permission because JJWXC holds the copyright but on a personal level she is fine with it. And I’m sure she wants to have BAB back so that she can continue it elsewhere but for some reason she can’t. She keeps updating it daily on there though. They only block her chapters when she breaks some kind of rule -like p0rn or talking about contracts-
That's unfortunate. BAB has been our medicine to patch up our depression wounds from waiting for too long for Immortality but that one too has got issues.

Right now caught yp with BAB.. its good.. slow burn, sexually charged, mutual pining, completely depressing backstories for leads.. what's not to like
Yuwu is good.. thankfully is shorter.. but the whole sex scene at bat cave is funny.. (like teenage fantasy because hormones just started acting up)
