Xiao Jun helps Lin Hao to arrange for a meeting with Xiao Lei. Lin Hao talks to Xiao Lei about his hard work to reach his current position, although he came from a small place. He explains he was confused by Hao Jie because he wanted to provide a stable home for Xia Yan as quickly as he could. Xiao Lei believes in his words and agrees to help him get Xia Yan back. She calls Xia Yan to meet near the company building but Lin Hao is the one waiting there.
