Mi Chong and Zhi Liao meet under the worst circumstances imaginable. Mi Chong is about to end his life when he sees a woman drawing. Instead of going through with his plan, he saves her life. The woman is Zhi Liao who in her attempt to escape the two men who kidnapped her, throws herself into the river.
