When a number of convenience stores in one area of Tokyo are robbed on the same night, Ibuki and Shima go undercover as employees at a nearby store to try to catch the perpetrators. It’s not long before the thieves strike again, and together the police succeed in rounding up almost the entire gang. They turn out to be mostly foreign workers brought to Japan for technical training who have been forced into low-wage jobs. But while investigating the case, Ibuki discovers there’s much more to it than meets the eye…
