this was a freakin tough watch, maybe cause i knew how things would go, just couldn't sit through Sky's abuse all over again (seeing the J-version was more then enough) same with his break-down afterwards, it was tough just skimming over those parts. but this time around i felt like the bad-guys got away with murder, the fact Gun was beaten means nothing - Prapai was a moron to even offer his condo to some random dude & his threat, that if he does anything illegal he would come for that dude. amounts to sh*t - sorry but after the deed is done, what can u do?!? can't right any wrongs, that's for sure! **********************think the J-version where Prapai's counterpart dealt with the ex & his friends, was wayyyy more satisfying - 1. cause he showed up alone, not bringing witnesses to add to Sky's humiliation (especially not a moronic witnesses, that had a hand in delivering Sky into hell) & 2. he beat the sh*t out of every dude there & then rained hell down on the ex's head. that was so freakin satisfying, here it left me wanting. **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but all's well that ends well & am happy Sky got his happily ever after with Prapai - even though i felt like everything got wrapped up too quickly. but it is what it is - just thankful didn't have to see more of Rain - dude is a moron, sorry not sorry. *********************************************************************************************************************************************side note - Gun - is that his real voice?!? dude looks good but the sec he opened his mouth (heck when he was a voice on the phone. a few eps back, i thought his voice sounded whack) but that soft voice is a joke - & sorry if that is the actors voice, but THAT VOICE IS A BAD JOKE for a grown ass man - sorry. it had to be said. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************this was fine for a one off, even though the J-version is an remake of this, i liked that better & i aint faulting the acting, which was good. yeah liked some character's better then others, but i can't ignore the fact that a really serious topic was dealt with frivolously. but that is my pet peeve, so it is what it is - this a 1 off.
starting the review with fort's acting because the way i smiled and giggled when he smiled should be studied! story wise i did not enjoy rain and phayu much and honestly skipped from episode 3 directly to 8 to watch pai and sky. loved their storyline and have to give the drama 8/10 for them otherwise it is 6/10 overall.
I was kinda put off by payu in the beginning but i really grew to love his and rain's relationship. They were definitely the core of the series even when it wasnt focused on them. After episode 7 i was so confused. It wouldve worked much better if the storied intertwined more instead of being all about rain/payu the first half and pai/sky the second half. It felt like the story was complete after episode 7 but they had a contract to fill 13 episodes so they had to make something up to fill space. If i ever rewatch its only going to be the first 7 episodes. I could say more but id be wasting my time like i wasted it on the second half
This was such a sweet show with some spicy moments added in.
I wish this show had been broken up into two seasons. 1 season we watch Phayu and Rain and the next Prapai and Sky, I felt like both love stories were rushed and could have been explored more if it had been done that way. We could have seen Sky's trauma handled more thoroughly. I found myself more interested in Sky and Prapai's relationship and I wish it had gotten longer to develop. Overall I adored this show.
The episode is a rollercoaster of emotions and a little hard to watch at the beginning but the ending is literally fuel to my bones like when pai cries? That whole scene there makes a big part of the show. It changed me as a person. It expresses so much I can’t explain to you how dear to me it is tbh, i go back to it every other day.
I really liked the acting and I LOVED the chemistry each actor had with one another. The plot was definitely all over the place at times, but I think that is just because I don't speak Thai.---also this was my first BL that ive watched fully and i have no regrets
Ini sangat baik, penyampaian emosi setiap karakter sangat baik, phrapai terlihat sangat keren, setiap adegan di episode ini dipenuhi dengan emosi yang sangat berat saya menangis dan itu mengharukan.
I loved this series until this episode. This was so painful and unpleasant that I kept having to fastforward. Then the subtitles got out of sync. Then it was painful and frustrating. The ending was pretty good but I would have liked more of Sky meeting Prapai's family.
