there is no bond like first love❤
from the start only i started seeing the red flags in main lead he was a very flawed character like that guy did the same thing that female lead ex did he tried to kiss fl when he was in a relationship uhmmm if thats not enough..guy literally was being a creep when took admission in university for his first love...and last but not least he words he said when he was in his lowest and blamed it on fl was pathetic...i was annoyed by the ml so much but then i got it what the movie wanted to interpret...we do stupid things in our youth,we all think that we will endup with our first crush and wil be happy forever , we are silly and young and does not worry about future, nothing is forever everything is momentary and its not even a bad thing, some people come our life to teach or lead us a lesson that one person can change our entire life...instead having hatered we should cherish the moment we spent with that person ❤atlast i would say i like how realistic it was..i would say wont like to rewatch it its a one time watch movie coz there is nothing but reality :)

"Unrequited Love Takes Center Stage in Heartbreaking Romance 'My Love'"
"My Love" is a poignant and moving film that tells the story of a 15-year love affair between two individuals, Zhou Xiao Qi and You Yong Ci. The movie explores the themes of unrequited love, long-distance relationships, and the painful realities of growing apart. The plot is deeply relatable, as it reflects the experiences of many who have had to grapple with the complexities of love and heartbreak. One of the most impressive aspects of the film is the stellar performances of the two lead actors. Zhang Rounan is particularly noteworthy in her portrayal of You Yong Ci, as she captures the character's delicate vulnerability and deep emotional complexity. The male lead, though less familiar, delivers a strong and authentic performance that perfectly complements Rounan's acting.
The film's soundtrack is another standout feature. Li Rong Hao's "No Regrets" is a beautifully composed piece that captures the bittersweet essence of the film's narrative. The other songs featured in the movie are equally impressive and add a layer of emotional depth to the story.
As someone who doesn't often rewatch films, "My Love" is a rare exception. The film's nuanced portrayal of love and heartache resonated deeply with me, and I would gladly watch it again. Overall, "My Love" is a well-crafted movie that is both heartbreaking and deeply rewarding.

Better than the original
Greg Hsu, I love you! He and his smile totally made this more watchable and more poignant than the original Korean movie 'On your wedding day'.I have watched the original movie liked it enough for depicting a realistic failed romance but it not make me cry like 'My Love' did. This adaptation retained the spirit of the original but removed the things I did not particularly like, resulting to a more impactful story. Pretty Rounan acted well enough but it was weak compared with Greg Hsu who carried this movie for me. He was a believable rowdy HS student, naughty university student, aspiring then failed athlete, strict HS swimming coach. His monologue near the end will make you wish they were still endgame but makes you accept that he's content that she's happy. The fact that they have let go of their regrets made me feel they truly have closure and can each move on to a better future.

fifteen years of love all gone by a single word: regret.
WOW! okay so i just finished this about two hours ago and I can't stop thinking abt it. So my love is a remake of on your wedding day (a kor movie) and I haven't seen that YET so just letting yall know :D also this isnt much a review rather and rant because boy oh boy i have thoughts. These two are literally the definition of 'right person wrong time' ! they were soulmates but they kept walking into each other lives at the wrong time, and for the brief years they were in a relationship were cute however they wouldn't have worked out for many reasons. like he literally did sm for her, spent years after her, got injured, which literally made him sacrifice his career, THATS HUGE?!?!?!AND SHE TRIED DOWNPLAYING IT LIKE GIRL ?? clearly he was down at that moment and anyone in his place would be questioning his life choices even if its for a moment, even her husband, i bet!!!! but she just decided to leave!! and the sad thing is if she was in that position, he would've done the exact opposite. and instead of understanding him and allowing him to grow she decides to leave. like it’s kind of selfish bc he’s literally the way he is bc of her yet she goes and purses her dreams leaving him in the dust to suffer
LIKE IKKK BUT IG IT WAS FOR THE BEST TO LET HIM GROW TOO AND FIND HAPPINESS?? CUZ HE WAS HAPPY WITH HER BUT NOT WITH HIMSELF AND SO I WOULDVE LIKED HIM TO GET LOVE AND ALL THAT
she was really just waiting for him to say the wrong words and leave him:((
but i really do recommend this because the acting is really good and it is a cute story!

I LIKED IT BETTER THAN THE OG (in my humble opinion)
I watched this before the OG "On Your Wedding Day". I was impressed by this storyline than the OG because of few reasons:1. The athlete dream gone cause of injury sounded more lie a logical reasoning for the ML to say that he regrets it
2. The starting school portion between the two was more genuine in 'My Love' in my opinion.
3. I cried at the end for 'My Love' but didnt for the OG (maybe bcs I watched it back to back)
4.The ring portion and the last minute to wedding hall portion also felt like better written in 'My Love' than OG.
I would recommend watching this if you like watching Chinese drama more than Korean Drama as a foreigner.
