In 1993, Ayu moves to Tokyo from Fukuoka with her grandmother Sachiko. Ayu is enthusiastic and knows that if she manages to land good entertainment jobs, her family's life will be easier. However, she is only managing to pull in low tier jobs while attending high school. One day, her friend Tamaki Risa invites her out to Disco Belfine in Roppongi. Meanwhile, "A VICTORY" producer Max Masa is looking for the next star of the company. He is a rival to the hitmaking Tenmei. That night, Masa goes to Belfine's VIP room and tells his subordinate, Sho, to find him someone that he thinks will sell. Sho gathers up multiple girls, including Ayu and introduces them to Masa. The story of the birth of the Heisei diva is about to begin.
