Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

Both are cute dramas with a cat/human shapeshifting ML from another planet and a human FL who he loves.

Both are about the relationship between a human and a shapeshifter animal/human (cat vs. dog) who end up living together.

Stars the same actress, and is a similar genre of romantic comedy. Really cute and light and fluffy.

Both are Romcoms that are meant to be for fun rather than taken seriously while also having better plotlines than most romcoms.
