I'm so touched by the Great Madam bravery to defend Shiyi and her support to see her execution. Ah! I knew they were going to use that pregnant move at any moment and this was very good moment. Just brilliant. Oh Yanxing you nearly disappoint me... Idk. But it's not fair to any children of Yanxing to not be an official. Yanxing obviously a good person, he just hv rotten family. It's not fair. Wait... Only little girl?? Also, Where's Linbo and Dongqing scene??? They shld at least put a scene how they were happy together humph!

The Sword And The Brocade has a happy ending. The last few scenes depict a time jump of a few years later. The Xu family is happily celebrating a festival. Shi Yi Niang and Ling Yi now has a daughter. Concubine Wen’s son is still studying away from home and has great potential to be a top scholar. Lin Bo is now an official at a different prefecture with Dong Qing by his side. Ling Kuan is also becoming an official and moving elsewhere. In the last scene, Shi Yi Niang is conferred an honorary award by the Emperor for her embroidery works before leaving the palace together with Ling Yi. She is thankful for her husband’s continued support and love for her.
