Jing Jian sees Feng Ran under the magical spell of Wu Huan and tries to break her free. Hou Chi follows Qing Mu’s fireflies to the wedding site, where she confronts Bai Jue and asks for a divorce. Gu Jun and Jing Yuan arrive to help her, but Wu Huan has other plans.

Ancient Love Poetry Episode 41 Reactions
I watched this series for the first time, about a year or year and half ago. I came back to this episode after watching the Last Immortal and realizing it’s the continuation of Ancient Love Poetry. This episode breaks my heart and it was done so well… the cast bringing out so much emotion from me (hate: Wu Huan, exasperation: Mu Guang, pain/love/heartache/tears: Hou Chi, Bai Jue, Gu Jun, Jing Yuan), the storyline, the music, … Even though I was thoroughly tortured and exhausted watching this episode, I also thoroughly enjoyed it.

emotional roller coaster cried so hard throughout the episode. Gu Jun's portrayal of character is so splendid and really hits the spot especially in this episode
