I suspect this would have been more popular and well known if it hadn't been overshadowed by Love between a Fairy and a Devil, which came out around the same time. FYI this has two possible endings and you can decide which you prefer (which may also be why it doesn't get the attention it deserves). An underrated drama, and a good watch.

Romance between a mentor and disciple relationship, both are romance, fantasies with similar concepts and color palette too. Good acting but the Journey of FLower is older so keep that in mind in terms of CGI and budget, of course Ancient Love Poetry looks better on screen but both are enjoyable overall

In this drama we also meet young warriors and friends with their magic weapons and on a personal journey. The difference is that here there is a lot of romance and tears between several past lives and new faces for the same characters in new times bringing new secrets to be unraveled together.
