In both dramas we have a boy and a senior with Alzheimer's desease. In Navillera, kdrama, the boy helps a man to master Ballet.

I'm surprised that no-one recommended these two series before. There're age gap friendships in both of them. and also we see that older person who discovers new passion and encourages the young one. They shares same hobby etc. You should try watching both

Music teacher and student relationship. The young student was really poor, no family member. The family sort of adopted him. The young man end up went abroad and become success and return to Korea

both are about trying to live your best life and not giving up whilst fighting an illness. Plus, they're centred on how their illness affects their family and friends.

Both shows feature an older protagonist who feels as if they are just now in the twilight of their lives getting to pursue something they've always wanted to do.
In Not Played, it's s an older housewife who discovers a love and talent for billiards much to the dismay of her family like in Navillera. In the process of pursuing that passion, they also help a much younger and somewhat wayward co-star become reenergized towards their passions as well.

Both are slice of life and have a certain melo feel to it and i am pretty sure anyone who liked my liberation notes will like navillera

Both dramas show unexpected intergenerational friendships, which change the life for both sides. In Navillera - an old man and a ballet dancer, in Ossan.. - middle aged manager and his son's friend - young gay and medical student. In both cases, MLs influence each other in a good way.

Both has ballet. Japanese one is more about murder mystery, Korean one is more family life drama. Both shown dancers determination, peservarance. Their personal life struggle, friendship..

Both movie has dementia. The gentle, kindness and acceptance of elderly. Young role life were tough, struggling. The tough of elderly help the young one stood up. The little old memory bring up the lost memory. Sweet heart warming movies
