Paul designed the wedding ring meant for Nai without him knowing and hence him being pissed the heck off.Sex as a tool of revenge have been used lots of times in dramas with tropes like these. ML having sex with a woman he hates is his way of shutting his emotions off and just letting his body function. Its all about dominating, and in this case Paul wanted to use the violence through sex. But he was unable to still do it because he no longer is the owner of his heart. He can`t shut off his emotions to that extenct because Nai owns his heart and therefore his fury.
