Both have HIV and the effect of ostracizing by society. However, Love conquers all. Precious Time is one of the best romances out there for all you romantics!

Male leads are both music composers struggling to get over a past love.
Age gaps between the leads- male leads are older in both.

Both are moving love stories. Precious Time is especiallylly realistic and stars Kaneshiro Takeshi, the hot actor in Red Cliff and House of Flying Daggers. Don't miss it!

Both are serious, thoughtful dramas that cannot be forgotten. Kamisama is one of those dark romances that you hesitate to watch, but are glad you did. Both have subject matters that affect others in a tragic way. Kamisama is more heartwarming, both are memorable.

This is a love story about Ogawa Manami, a high school teacher who grew up in a strict family, and Kaworu, a host who is not good at reading and writing, as they search for love despite the obstacles they face. Manami is being pressured to marry a man she met through her father's introduction, and the high school where she works is also facing a crisis of class collapse. She spends her days lamenting, "I want to run away from this place."

One day, she receives a call saying that a student has been deceived by an unscrupulous host, and she rushes to the store to bring the female student back, where she meets Kaworu. Kaworu has to sign a promissory note promising not to contact the student in the future, and Manami finds out about the problem that he had kept secret from anyone until then. In the play, the two gradually become closer through Manami's secret "private lessons," in which she teaches Kaworu about language and society.

one from 2012 and one from 1998, completely different genres and story lines...probably the only thing they have in common is the fact that these two have the most amazing, strongest and most beautiful love between the leads ive ever seen...the chemistry is so amazing in both of them, it is actual love they show, not the cutesy-wutesy-crush-thingy they show in romcom dramas...so yeah, thats pretty much the only thing they share, but im absolutely sure that if one made u squeal, so will the other:)

Both are melodramas about people finding love while dealing with a devastating illness. Precious Time (1998) is a classic and is one of the best romance dramas produced. It features international superstar, Kaneshiro Takeshi. Don't avoid it due to subject matter. It has an uplifting ending. Boku no ita Jikan is more difficult to watch.

Female leads both meet and develop a romance with their celebrity crush. Triad Princess is more upbeat and comedic while KMSD is more serious and heavy.
