When Geum Ok hears that she's the daughter of Sa Gi Jin and that Sam Saeng is Bong Mu Ryong's daughter, she is shocked and cannot believe it. Geum Ok, still unable to believe what Sa Gi Jin has said, is very concerned after hearing about the scar on her shoulder. She asks Gyeong Ja if Sa Gi Jin indeed had a daughter. Geum Ok is devastated when she hears that Ji Seong had spilt hot water, scalding the baby's shoulder. Meanwhile, Sam Saeng tells Geum Ok that she's happy to finally be friends. She also tells Geum Ok that life "turns and turns" just like the lyrics of a song by The Byrds. Geum Ok comes home and breaks the record of the Byrds that Ji Seong gave to her.
