My Day the Series Episode 8 Reactions
Yes it had some flaws but the last 1/4 of the episode more than made for any flaws. One of the best kissing scenes in BL to this date! Loved it!

This is phenomenal.
Honestly I’ve been hooked to this bl series since it started. Waiting for new episodes every Sat is a pain. Last time I felt this was with Addicted the Series.
With episode 8 I almost died of “kilig”. The kissing scene which turned into a steamy bed scene”, didn’t seem forced at all. You can feel their emotions via their facial expressions, hand gestures, etc.
I also like the scene where they were trying out their clothes. It’s so fun. They were just being casual, dancing, teasing and looking at each other. Plus the music is spot on.
So for those guys who keep on giving negative feedbacks. Sorry for you. I just noticed that most of it would come from the same users. If you really don’t like the first few episodes, then just drop it. Don’t influence others with your biased opinions—coz you just keep pointing out on what’s bad without appreciating anything good.
I’ll continue to watch..since I’m listening to my heart rather than to your hateful comments. For those who haven’t watched the series yet, try to give it a chance. Don’t dwell too much on the reviews.

This episode contains some of the most amazing and realistic BL scenes I have ever seen. Sir Ace really is Prince Charming.

The first three quarters of Episode 8 was a bit shaky in terms of acting. This episode started by repeating the scene with Yul Servo whose acting was just terrible. Also, Aki and (especially) Miko didn't really capitalize on the dramatic scenes given to them, both were underwhelming. But the pace of the entire episode and the fourth quarter scenes made up for the shakiness in acting. For the first time after a long while, we had an episode that didn't felt disjointed or rushed. All the prior scenes logically led to those final scenes that were wonderfully executed. Yes, it was a bit campy with all the fireworks (hey, I love fireworks!), but My Day has been campy the entire season, so it wasn't really a surprise. The kissing scene was intense, it was passionate, yet it wasn't dirty. It was exquisitely done. For sure, it's one of the best kissing scenes in the boys' love (BL) genre. Hopefully, My Day is able to maintain this momentum going to their last four episodes.
