If you are into Zhang Wan Yi's emotional scenes, the Bond is the one you should add to your list of dramas to watch.

His storyline is about him falling in love with an older woman. He married a younger woman but divorced his wife in order to be together with his first love.

ZWY shines in this drama too. Although his scenes are fewer compared to other leads, his stand out.

The setting and the context are different but I've found the oldest brothers in both dramas really similar; the way they sacrifice themselves for the sake of the youngest siblings and try to maintain a certain stability and the bond among them.

Both shows are centered around a family of siblings living together and the struggles they face in their daily lives. Only difference is that in "The Bond" the siblings still have a father(if you can even call him that) alive while "Under One Roof" the oldest sibling is the father figure to his younger siblings.

A group of underprivileged children living in countryside, so poor, so desperate. The adult who treat them well and treat them bad. They struggle, grew up situation break them apart, only strong will and wise one may survive.

The dramas are about relationships among siblings and family ties. In both dramas the children go through difficult times but still stay connected. We see the children grow through adulthood.
